Sorry, it had to be done.... xD.
Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
But guys... who says Pete can look like whatever he wants? So far, we've seen him being a griffin, a human, and a hybrid between the two (Human with griffin head). And that's all! Perhaps those are all of his forms he can turn into.

I know it's beside the point, but suddenly... I can't get the image of a griffin-with-human-head combo out of my head.Alex wrote:But guys... who says Pete can look like whatever he wants? I'm pretty sure he can turn into a box as well... that would be a nice plot twist, that he was that box in the imagine arc all along. Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
Just thought. Pete had plans on that night, and I think it's safe to assume it wasn't to enjoy the party shape-shifted as a differant dog/cat/Tarot...if he can do that. What if he went to discuss something with Tarot? It'll explain why Tarot left the party early. There's more then enough reasons why they may want to talk. Who knows, maybe Pete had already seen Tarot, thus explaining the lack of concern/surprise when she saw King.
Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
I think pete disguised himself as Tarot, went to the party, said exactly the right thing to make King follow him away from the party, and now is confronting him...

I agree. At most he impersonated her.Barkeron wrote:Come to think of it, Pete can shape shift, meaning that he could look like anyone, even Tarot. I not saying that was the case, but think about it. Revisiting my original number 3 reason why that could be, that being, why would Tarot go out into the woods, alone, in the middle of the night? When I thought about that later, I realized that she could have gone out there because she sensed Pete was near. Which would bode well for a confrontation between the two come Monday. But I still won't be shocked if Pete was impersonating Tarot. I'm just saying either way looks very plausible right now. And then again, Rick could go in a direction that I never expected, as he often does
edit: ok, my refresh didn't work right, so I'm a little behind.
Yeah, I've been thinking about that too, but I was ignoring it because it was inconvenient for my theoriesAlex wrote:But guys... who says Pete can look like whatever he wants? They're both WEIRD To the bone, that's fo' sure! Ya'll can speculate, but you'll never get it right! (Pete is actually both Tarot and Grape, combined with Peanut as a tail, so don't worry!)

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
It is possible Pete just "sensed" that King was at the party and poofed there. I mean he's magic, we don't really shouldn't imagine any constraints to his powers other than the already established.
Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
Ooh, ooh! I have another theory, a very weird one! He might've planned it all, right? The whole cage thingie, and all, and he's just checking up on King with the scary entrance, and in the next panel he's gonna be all like "So, ya know I could hook you up with someone" or "Hah! I am just kidding ,just here checkin' up on little kingy!" But that would be so weird, it's silly.
okay, had to edit just a bit <.<
Edit again: FYI, I am very weird tonight, cuz I've been ridin' these rollercoasters all day which makes me all... weird? :3

You would have thought a giant magical bird could find a better way to keep King in the house. Unless he was using reverse psychology....

Wouldn't it be clear to pete that king would bump the cage to tumble down the stairs likely ending up braking the cage open?

Ya know, now that King is out of the way from the party, Pete could easily astral-jump King back home.

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
Or he could Astral jump the house to king But I really don't think Pete was impersonating Tarot or the other way around. The only benefit Pete could get from doing that is showing King that others know his secret.Kitch wrote:Ya know, now that King is out of the way from the party, Pete could easily astral-jump King back home.

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
Even for Pete, I think it might take sliiiightly more effort to bring a house to a Corgi than it would to bring a Corgi to a house. That aside... I somewhat agree on the impersonation thing. Especially because it would be more believable if Tarot had left any indication that she wanted to be followed. Considering her tendencies to be very... Blunt... And rarely beat around the bush as it is, I think the comment about not dating humans was just frank reasoning. It would also require a lot of reverse psychology and luck to assume King would not only want to follow her, but find someone like Fido who had seen where she went in the first place.Dusty wrote:Or he could Astral jump the house to king But I really don't think Pete was impersonating Tarot or the other way around.
