Hello again Housepets forum! I just got back from a vacation in Florida. It's something like this.
Joy: SUN! Heat! Warmth!!
Sorrow: Oh wait I'm not built for this, spend the nights over heating.
Joy: I actually miss the cold of Canada!
Sorrow: I remember why I looked forward to Florida.
Joy: Working space heater!

My body didn't expect summer in the middle of winter.

Sorrow :my first lesson plan got returned and I gotta fix it up , on one hand since this is my internship , at least I have someone to tell me what I need to adjust and all that , my instructor is also gentle about it too , on the other hand , it's my last year before graduation and I STILL have a lot to work on X_X

Joy: We (my band) has finished recording out black metal EP; we just have to mix it now.

Sorrow: My mother is aware that I do death metal, but I don't have the heart to tell her that I do black metal (she is a very Christian woman and I don't want to hurt her like that)

Joy: I have been up in Chiang Mai as a volunteer, trekking up mountains and conquering the cold in order to deliver some construction work for remote mountain villages! We ended up building a much needed water tank for storing water during dry seasons. (pics here somewhere) It was tiring but also oddly satisfying and refreshing!

Sorrow: It's been less than a week but I have to depart from this homely village. I would stay here if I could ;w; The people here are too nice!

eek! I'm sorry you had to experience that! But it's great that you are willing to try new things regardless of what other people think.
I would advise you not to judge a community from a few bad eggs cough cough furry fandom cough, but it seems like you've got that already!
