Joy: I passed all my classes, so now I only have 3 more semesters before I graduate.

Sorrow:

My grandfather passed away at 1am last night. He was one of the kindest, most loving and wittiest gentlemen I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and I am honoured that I am part of his family.

I'm sorry to hear that Hlaoroo.

I'm so sorry Hlaoroo. May he rest in peace.

Joy: My mom and I saved an emaciated and mangy hound walking along the street.

Sorrow: We're not sure if they'll be able to treat her or if she'll have to be put down.

Joy: Either way would be better than if she had died of starvation, exposure, or by being run over by a car.

Sorrow: Failed both math tests I had today. But I studied and I'm pretty sure I got them right *shrug*
Terror: I am not on the cliff of pass or fail. If I don't get at least a D on the math final I will be seeing my school again next year.
Joy: I had this real big paper I had to write, 280 points or around that at least. I got a B on the paper and full grade for the process leading up to it. Paper itself was about 140 the process was the other 140.

Joy: My exams are almost over after tomorrow
Sorrow: We had to institutionalize my sister. So while one is coming home, the other is in a mental institution.

Joy: Looks like finals are over.
Sorrow: Didn't do so well on my government final. My A- may have dropped to C+. I don't know if i'll transfer now and I'm definitely not taking that class again. I still have up to a week before I know my grades.
Joy: Weather has been nice lately.
Funny: My friend who just got here from Oregon thinks that 50F degrees is cold.

My feel very sorry for both of you. I hope everything will turn out well for you.

Sorrow: Can't sleep in 3rd day in a row.

Joy: Last exam is tomorrow then I have the semester off
More Joy: My sister is getting released before Christmas

Joy: I scored 82 out of 99 on the test the recruiter makes you take to get a general idea of what you might score on the ASVAB. Now all that's left to do is study.

Joy: My college semester is now OVER
Sorrow: I think I did bad on my final exam.

Joy : Guys guys guys I did it! I passed my math final with a C.

Joy: Cumulative GPA is now a 3.0. Third and second semester GPAs are almost a full point higher than first semester GPA.
Joy: I got new shoes today! Prepared them for their first night home by stuffing them with potatoes.
Sorrow: Either I have a hard drive failure or corrupted Windows files. Running diagnostics at the moment.
Mixed: Above happened AFTER finals thank glub but mere hours before the Steam holiday sale. T_T

This is why I now use Linux. Unless you mess around in the terminal using sudo commands, you can't mess it up. (Well, with Ubuntu anyway. I'm not sure about other distributions.) ((And I don't play games so not being able to play them isn't a big deal))

Unless it is your hard drive. I believe your computer isn't that old though, correct? I'm not sure the average life of a mechanical hard drive, but I'm sure it shouldn't be failing (on a mechanical level at least).

Joy : Finals are done. Time for winter break!

Joy: Finals are done for me as well. I managed to ace all my classes so I'm feeling swell. Time to kick back and *checks and finds out I have more work to do* Dangit.

I wish I could have scored a bit better. I got a B- and an A- on them.

Does your university distinguish between minuses and pluses?

If so, I know how that feels.
I got an A minus in political science, but it's bringing my GPA down : |

On the topic of school..

Joy: I got four out of five of my final grades and this was definitely my best semester. I now have more options for university applications. Looking at schools in Nebraska, Oklahoma, Ohio and New York.

Sorrow: The power cord for my drawing tablet broke (again). It will probably take a while for a replacement to be shipped due to the holidays -in the meantime, I can't work on my digital art.

EDIT: Found a spare! Should last me until a better one arrives.

Wow, that was very unlucky. I would be freaking out if a power cord broke and then I found sprained that broke. To put it in a better way, Bino would have nothing on my language.

Joy: So, today has basically been a great day. This morning, my band reformed and we are expecting to start recording our new album in the near future. Then in the afternoon, my boyfriend surprised me. He took me out to eat, we went to the movie theater, and he gave me a cd by one of my favorite bands. So happy right now

Joy: Got to give someone a nice little care package for being sick as well as giving him half of his Christmas gifts (He needed it) and I get to give him his main gift Tuesday.
Joy: We also get to go to caroling at 'Greenfield Village' tomorrow. Hopefully he's feeling a lot better.
Sorrow: I have to finish the chapter that I'm working on my the 23rd. I'm on my 3rd cup of coffee. I'm working my hardest!

Joy: My band has already memorized the songs "Lochinvyrr" and "Byrrgis" (both songs inspired by one of my favorite authors, Kathryn Lasky) from our new album, Pack Rituals. Only 8 more songs to go
