Wow, it's been a while since I've uploaded anything here! Last Christmas my dad gave me a Nikon D3200 and I finally feel like I'm getting invested in photography as a hobby! This past summer I took a road trip across the country, visiting some well-known places like San Diego, Las Vegas, and the Grand Canyon. I don't want to flood you guys with pictures, so here's a small album consisting of some of my favorite photography from 2015. There are pictures of the North Carolina autumn, Fourth of July fireworks, my road trip, and a few other random shots that I really liked.

Enjoy! http://imgur.com/a/jjVH7

Mm. Love the Canyon. Did you happen to hike in?

Thanks everyone!

@CosmicCoyote: We didn't hike in. I went on the road trip with my father, who is 71 years old, so we took the shuttles around the cliffs along the south rim. I didn't mind the walking problem except when we went to Las Vegas; I would have loved to walk down South Las Vegas Boulevard at night! We went in May, and it was bustling with tourists and the city was so active! Being 20 years old, I wasn't yet at the age to do most things in Vegas, so seeing the nightlife would have been really nice. =(

I only ask because the views from the inside of the Canyon are absolutely unreal. I've hiked there several times and the views never cease to amaze and inspire. That said, if it was May, I don't blame you. Especially with a 71 year old on board. Summer can make the hike absolutely nightmarish if you're not prepared.

Anyways, nice photos! I don't want to take the thread too far away from them. :P

Ah, a thread that with no new comments since 2015, perfect place to post.
I mentioned in the Welcome Thread that one of my hobbies is photography. I use a Canon EOS 2000D (Also known as Canon EOS Rebel T7) that I bought last summer, formerly used my phones for that purpose. Long shutter photography is something that I've never done often, but recently I tried to make some pictures like that. This was the first one I did after almost a year and I think it came out quite well. This is one of the christmas trams that are running in my country's capital city.

This is a recent photo of mine, taken yesterday. The bus is a midibus called Otokar Vectio C and it's currently being tested on bus line 16 which is going through the Castle District meaning that a lot of tourists use that line.

So they are all males? I ask because I can't see their pouches except for one of them.

Re: Photography Thread

Those pics are actually of four different kangaroos. I can't remember the sex of those specific ones but there was a mix of sexes in their mob. No pouches visible in those pics though. In the bottom pic, that dark bit is just the shadow between their pectoral muscles. Kangaroos are built! :P

Fun fact. Kangaroos can't reach their chest with their claws so if you scritch a tame one there they'll be your friend for life. Don't try it on a wild one though, or you'll get kicked.

I am assuming that these kangaroos were all wild and not tamed then?

Those are some really beautiful landscapes, nice shots Fox!

This Monday I went to Austria for the second time in my life (also it's the 4th time of visiting a foreign country, even though I don't really count the 3rd one), I was visiting the capital city, Vienna with my a friends and we visited the Schönbrunn Palace and the Upper Belvedere Palace. Also I'm currently a bit obsessed with the public transport of Vienna because of the trip, but that's a bit off-topic.
