Civ does not think Meeko can respond to anything, so I am going to have Trello give him something to respond to soon. However, I am waiting for Val to have someone respond to Benjamin's 'oh dear' comment. Unless someone else wants to go before then.

Appearance: Tall with black fur like the night sky with rust-color markings and aqua-colored eyes. He wears chain link collar that he fashioned himself and sports a dark brown 'Indian Cowboy' leather jacket with a pair of blue jeans covering his boots and a dark brown cowboy hat.

Personality: He has a bit of a rough side to him when it's required i.e saving someone's hide in a fight or defending himself (think Chuck Norris but can actually fight). Otherwise, he is pretty friendly and is one of those who will look out for anyone and will treat any friend like family.

Other Notes: Skilled mechanic and, when he's not working out (Just to keep in shape), he loves working on vehicles of all sorts, especially motorcycles (including his '95 Harley Davidson). Regarding his rough side, one of his first jobs was as a bouncer for a bar...but he was let go for being "Too Good At His Job" (He sent a drunk patron to the hospital after being kicked...through a window....).

I like him. Although I can't help but picture him speaking with a Texan drawl.

The only thing I'd suggest is adding a little more back story. Does he have an owner? What brought him to SP?

Also, he'll probably get some strange looks for all his clothes but there are no laws against pets wearing what they like so no one will say anything.

Well, He does have an owner but I was having a bit of issue with it (just some minor stuff). Basic idea is that his owner owns a ranch and is part Native America hence 'Lorne's' name. While he did enjoy working the ranch, he always loved riding his Harley through the country side with his owner and enjoyed working on vehicles, so with help from his owner, Lorne moved out to SP to open up a mechanic shop that specializes in bikes (Like Harley's) and classic muscle cars and trucks.

I like it. If any town is going to have pets doing human jobs it's going to be Sunset Plateau. My only question is this: is the job going to leave him enough time to interact with the pets?

It should as he works out of his own garage and sets his own hours and such.

Kinda serious but not kinda serious. Since your asking for ideas, try these:

Your character gets hungry, have them want to check out the new pizza place.

Your character sees a new "NOT amiibo"/ other widget but it's on sale at the local wally world so they have to go get it.

If they're an (extreme?)introvert/extrovert, how do they deal with running into other pets/people emotionally? Internal/external dialogue?

Introvert: Pretend to, and then miserably fail/succeed at being a ninja.
Extrovert: How many people can they tell about the exciting new thing they are doing and try to get them to tag along?

Do they get home safely? They don't? They have to spend the night elsewhere? They get lost?

Here's a writing quote that's badly paraphrased that you may or may not have seen that I like that you might as well: Good writing is having your character want something, then spending the next 200 pages preventing them from getting it.

Or something like that.
