SO! the sequel to Blizzard's amazing sci-fi RTS released about an hour ago where I live. Going to get it tomorrow(today).

Who here is a Blizzard/Starcraft fan and/or is planning on getting SC2?

Getting it in the morning with two of my offline pals.

They have more skill than me in SC1 sadly, and I haven't been watching gameplay vids, so they have the advantage.

I'm gunnu go protoss though, you guise?

I might not get Starcraft 2 for a few days, so I'm gonna keep playing Starcraft 1 until I get it.

I have never played Starcraft one, i have seen 2 videos of people playing, and im getting this game. Least to say, im gonna get smoked.

I've been playing SC1 for years and I still get smoked. Most of the people that play SC are ridiculous....

Especially the Koreans.

ALSO, I have the game now, buuuut since my brother got it he refuses to let me play install it until he plays first, and he won't play it on anything but dad's high tech monster computer... So... about 2-3 hours until I can play. >:[

You're so lucky. My dad's comp f'd up after we tried to update it to play SC2. My brother won't let me install it anywhere until he can play...

...Aaand I haven't played it yet. I got back from work pretty late, took a while to install it, and now I'm trying to get it to stop running slowly. Worst case scenario I need a hard drive wipe.

But for what it's worth, my character name is Sleet and my friend code is 654. I don't know what else is necessary for being on a friend list (are RealIDs needed for SCII-only friends?), but if you want to be my friend and need more information, just PM me.

I'm installing it from the site right now so that when I do get it, I can just play!

Check the site of your Graphics Card manufacturer and see if there's a downloadable upgrade available, that could help.
