Housepets!

Okay, A funny thing crossed my mind.
I know why Grape hates her past so much.
As you all know, Princess Periwinkle was her name before she became an house pet.
And she doesn't seam to like her past that much.
IN blue's Clues, There is a cat named Periwinkle.And shes purple.

Blue's a girl, Magenta's a girl (not Blue's girlfriend, like I thought cuz I though Blue was a guy...) and Periwinkle's a guy.

How I know this? I was the world's biggest Blue's Clues fan a kid. Did you know anyone else with their own thinking chair, Steve outfit, and personal Blue assistant? No? That's what i thought.

and I never really noticed that. I probably didn't see the resemblance cuz it was missing the 'Princess' part

I only know because I have a young nephew.

Did they just slap on that Blue's a girl or does Blue actually do girl things and behave like a girl?

I think it was just a slap on that blue was a girl cause they didn't want to show any gender issues making both Joe and Blue male, so to allow it to appeal to a flat rate audience they balanced the femin-icity.

Blue is a girl, but there is a boy dog (named Magenta, who is creatively enough that color). Periwinkle is a stray cat that showed up outside that Blue and friends let stay in a cardboard box out in the backyard, who is male.
