Nothing more distracting than a moralizing squirrel on your nose posing arithmetical puzzles. Especially when you're afour-eared demon-deer, eh, Eudoant?

Just as I expected to happen. I have a feeling that Marion is gonna be the big hero here. Makes sense since he was the first one transformed.

Well said, Great Kitsune: you don't need an army, what you need is only one and in the right place, and Marion looks to take that part. What can he do, anyway? Meanwhile, Tarot is still in big difficulties, and she's who's holding Craig and Draig. Great Kitsune could do something to help her while Eudoant is getting distracted...

Tarot is gonna need soooooooooo much dental reconstruction ........

Hope that she has enough money to cover that. Or at least good dental insurance.

Maybe Kitsune can take care of it for her.

Tbh, I would laugh hard if Eudoant actually just shot the lasers, before Marion would continue his speech. That would make all the movie/anime distraction ironic, especially that some of them let a hero say long line before the villain even reacts. Though I don't think it would happen. That would be hilarious, but I think Rick wants to end this with the squirrel that was, like Amazee Dayzee said, the first one transformed.

Also I now wonder, about few things. Do they die? Or not. If they do, will they be bring back to life or would they have to use their "You can wish for anything"? We've seen that Marion actually started to like his life as a squirrel. But again... what about the others they would like to stay animals, right? I think... they would have to use the wish, but Marion, who didn't die, won't have to and won't use it, because he want stay squirrel. Though I hate predicting, so let's wait for the conclusion in few strips.

Well it will be the least they could do after she faced off against a hell spawn for Heaven.

I'm a little concerned that Eudoant may have back-up planned - are the gates of Pandemonium creaking?

Maybe Kitsune will have to restore Craig and Draig to help with Eudoant. Or Kitsune has Bahamut on stand-by.

Okay, so, for those who didn't pick up, Marion is basically saying "count who came in here and how many of them have actually been zapped", because as far as I can tell, there are several characters who are still around.

A cursory glance at subsequent strips didn't show anyone else. So that's 9 characters. Of course, that's not counting Craig and Draig, because The goal is to get them to the thing and obviously they haven't been zapped yet, nor have they really shown much agency here.

...and we have Tarot hanging off a ledge by her teeth, and Marion taunting the demon. That's 6 zapped, 2 inactive, but 1 remaining: Kix is still in play.

I think that the most likely scenario we are gonna end up with is Marion being the big hero by allowing Craig and Draig to get to the mana orb which will result in them turning back into Pete and Dragon and helping to bring down Eudoant. I could be wrong though. (And I probably am.)

The standard scenario would be either (a) Marion distracts Eudoant and GKitsune gets in the decisive blow or (b) Marion distracts Eudoant who starts monologuing and, while distracted, a fourth character (not the still-embattled GK) slips down to the mana pool and ... whatever ... Victory (I guess) !!!
Unless they miss the field goal.

Both sound a little too pat for a Rick finale. Maybe a forgotten character from the storyline slides in for the grab. Aardvark? Fox? Peanut?
