Title Text: they call us noodles for a reason!!

See, Keene, this is why you have to invest in carry weight early.

Now Draig gets to play Horsie
and doesn’t get to see mom fall
as lovely Kix proves again
that she’s the bravest of them all.
She doesn’t let her see her drop;
impelling them to race onward
and not to drop useless tears
as she drops off the mortal cord.
Her love is manifest here,
her concerns are for the other.
And she knows they’ll be distracted
if Draig’s worried for her mother...

They’re down to the main guys now;
a testament to Rick’s planner.
Who will remain at the end
and make it to the mana?

I was wondering what was gonna happen to Kix. I had a feeling if she did get hit, either Craig or Draig was gonna go all Anakin Skywalker and turn to the darkside.

Also, just how strong is Keene if he's able to carry a fox kit on his back?

Not as strong as he wishes he was!

Something tells me Rick is trying to give Kix the "Mom who saved the world" award =P

Since she's not vaporized, this can happen.

So does this mean Kix is out and she will be vaporized off-panel?

The party is RAPIDLY dwindling! Who will be left!?

Ah, also Kix got almost shot... Eudoant is so fast in throwing beams... :? Good that Keene is close to her, somehow. :) It's a dramatic moment, yeah, you only need to take Draig to bring her to the mana, together with Craig. :| A fox kit shouldn't be that much heavy, it's you who's a weak noodle, Keene. :P ;)

I don't think ferrets "Gitty-yup" exactly ... although they're pretty agile.

Noooo not Kix! She's the only one who hasn't done anything wrong!
....okay, she hooked up with Kitsune fully knowing what his deal was, but aside from that!

And yes, can confirm fox cubs would be really heavy to ferrets. I've done the math. Don't ask me why

I won't ask you why you did it, but I will ask you HOW you did it. :?: :P

so is this going to be a situation where the 2 omni beings turned moratal save the world and learn a lesson?
for some reason they are apparently the most important?

Hmm?

At the moment that seems to be the case. Make the match against Eudoant a 3v1 since alone Kitsune is clearly struggling.

I also had that thought. Though instead of it being Craig and Draig I figured that it would be Lois and Marion as the last ones standing.

Well, M & L are still out there ... for now.

it would be VERY funny if Marion or Lois turned out to be the ones who saved the day. It would also make a looot of people mad, so probably not.

Why would they be mad?

I think Weston is thinking that people would be upset since there is no payoff for them since this seems to be THEIR arc and the last arc before Rick does short random stories at his own pace.

I'm on a Discord server that's become VERY criticial of Rick and especially this arc in particular lately. Personally I don't find it to be that bad and there are some really inspired moments here and there, but I understand why some people are kinda miffed, this comic has been going on a long time and means a lot to people.

my guess: Kix got killed. Kitsune will go all Super Sayan on the enemy.

Though I STILL don't think it will be enough. I think its gonna come down to Kitsune, Lois and Marion against Eudoant at the end.

To be kinda clear, it was not me but OtherStraBaura who stated that , if Marion and Lois were the ones who saved the day, it would "make a looot of people mad."

Harry's also noted that he's been on a Discord (aptly named) site expressing heavy dislike of the current arc. I have not been to that site, partly because I'm not very techno and partly because I have enough media negativity in my life that I'd rather not read the critiques. (THAT comment, by the way, is NOT a slam at you, Harry, so don't be dismayed by it.)

Now, I admit I've had some problems with the current saga, but that's mostly me being "Captain Curmudgeon" (or, as the missus prefers, "General Geezer). As I've stated probably too many times, I miss so many of the old gang and really haven't been able to warm to the new crew. The pacing has also flagged with the two-comics a week - although the reward has been Rick's more intense and vivid artistic depictions. Maybe it's just the impatience of our era; we want to rush to the explosive climax like so many of the latest superhero soap operas. Were I to read the Discords Harry refers to, I might have some sympathy with them but I've learned to wait for the last curtain before judging the play ...

......

Although, I admit, if Daisy were to suddenly swoop in and rescue the cosmos, I'd forgive all my dismays! Except maybe for Todd. Oh, yeah, him too...only fair, right? :)

I think more people would be angry if Todd who was the first one zapped was the one that saved the day. I get the feeling that he is supposed to be a hate-sink.

I could see him popping up out of the blue at the last moment for a save. Though they would have to explain how he got there since he didn't go with everybody else.

Well, the key thing with a colored font is that it's legible, Vitor. Yours works fine. What's the color called anyways?

The color actually has all different names so it would be hard to narrow it down to one though I did try. Gold fusion seems to be the name its known the most by though.

Sounds glittery and sophisticated.

Looking at it closely it does look more gold than green. But it is a pretty color.
