Good that the aardvark is taking his transforming into an animal as a new life opportunity. All that explaining about what he was doing in his human life is enough to start to travel the world. Since it has been confirmed that the aardvark is a guy and he still isn't named I'm still calling him Arthur. It would also be a tribute since the show just ended this year.

I’m giving you credit in my head if Rick names the aardvark Arthur.

My dad worked for longer than that as a certified public accountant and had identity in spades. He saw his job as a way to meet people. So no, I disagree with this assessment.

Well, everyone is different. What one may see as rewarding, another can see as soul-crushing.

What is soul-crushing to one might be a lot of enjoyment to someone else. For example, I like sorting things and I'm sure a lot of people HATE it.
