I kind of hope they're not groveling as some sort of facade and that they're actually feeling remorse for their actions. It would be pretty neat to see them team up with our established crew and see what that brings.

Kit already said this is a Side-Effect from all the Demons getting taken off them. They get overwhelmed by positive emotions. They'll cool down, but whether they've learned from this and become better animals or simply go back to whom they were prior is still foreseeable.

Yeah, Trinket was with him dealing with Eudoant... Never face an angry Marion, eheh. Aww, poor them, they feel to be guilt of all the world's bad things. Good it's temporary, Marion couldn't get enough. Now there's Negabreel to defeat, and finally, Eudoant...

It is the guilt but even if they didn’t have the guilt from the demonic energy they probably would play it up and pretend to be sorry so that they don’t get chewed out. No way is this genuine and once they get in control of their faculties again they will try to wriggle out of it. It is so obviously just them faking.

Yes they were combined and I'm choosing to believe Trinket willingly did it because the alternative is just too horrifying. Steward was the body and Trinket was the wings. And I assume they both had their minds combined.
