It is possible that Kit just KO'd him long enough to try and purge the Demon out of him. I don't think he's merciless enough to actually destroy the guy.

Aw man. I hope Steward doesn't shrink back to normal after this...

He just exploded after taunting a being of near divine power. That badger is no more. He has ceased to be. He's expired and gone to meet his maker. He's a stiff, bereft of life, and he rests in peace. Or maybe he's just pining for the fjords. Might be the latter...

Actually I can't see Steward being completely killed off given that he never actually killed anyone (unless he did absorb/destroy Trinket in which case karma can bite hard) and all the transformations he caused are assumedly reversible with no one remembering a thing...most never realized that they happened anyway. Of course then again this is the grand finale arc so all bets are off.

What would be normal for him now anyway? Back to a normal badger or actually restored to human form? One kind of suspects Kitsune would stick him with the former instead of "rewarding" him with the latter.

Which is incredibly improbable because, despite how large this comics' fandom looks, the entire Internet is merely a cramped echo-chamber of a few million people in developed nations, meaning that we're merely a microsm of an microsm. And Rick's other works are not commerically friendly in the slightest. He'd be better off producing any such series himself, and he probably thought of it a few times anyway.

The way I saw it was that they were still speaking English but Rick put the text in Japanese because it was a gag since Kitsune's move came from "Fist of the North Star".

Even us young folk too I haven't read manga since I was in Middle School (Kind of fell out after a while).

As I said before I never got the chance to read manga. I only found out that it was a thing in MIDDLE SCHOOL and that you read it left from right in HIGH SCHOOL.

The Beastars series are the only works I've read - I did watch some of the cartoons with my kids (pokemon, dragon ball, Naruto) but never seriously followed them. I was never much into superheroes either, except maybe Batman and Spiderman. Many of my students were deep into manga and there was a manga club on the campus.
