Something tells me he’s holding back;
trying to get through to Steward.
Showing him how wrong he is here
might show him that his thinking’s flawed.
It’s not just religions he knows
but also their ways and culture.
When it comes to taking things in,
our Kit’s a bit of a Vulture.
What are Lois and the others
doing whilst the ‘gods’ perform?
Helping out where they can perhaps
Or asking to pass the popcorn?
trying to get through to Steward.

Because page after page of non stop action is visually thrilling but quite boring to write. Plus a good tactitioner knows that words are weapons, designed to distract and confuse in the hands of an expert like Spider-Man.
Only seen it done well a few times. Psylocke vs Sabretooth in one of the pre-Onslaught issues of X-Men for example. The fight lasted six pages with Jeff Matsuda providing the pencils.

You bring up a good point. I wasn't expecting Kit of all people to try and talk things out with Steward, although they've had very little time for that so far.Welsh Halfwit wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 1:26 am Something tells me he’s holding back;

And while would be a noble thing of him to do, but I still ponder whether we should consider Steward a lost cause or not....

Lost causes are oftentimes the causes worth fighting the hardest for.MrBlueSky7 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 8:40 am

Even then, it's not like he'd be completely off the hook though. He could face a lifetime sentence for his crimes. Or eternal community service.PhycoKrusk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 8:58 amLost causes are oftentimes the causes worth fighting the hardest for.MrBlueSky7 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 8:40 am

The fight with superpowers goes on, with a certain equilibrium. Spiritual combat? Well, you're both using your bodies and superpowers, I don't see nothing spiritual in them. Gods from ancient religions are cool, and probably you're one of them, Great Kitsune.

Well, he is an accountant; Stewart might enjoy an eternity of mindless chain linking. Nega-breel not so much....MrBlueSky7 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 10:20 amEven then, it's not like he'd be completely off the hook though. He could face a lifetime sentence for his crimes. I would be interested in learning about the cool religions but I'm already afraid of eternal damnation enough as it is. I think I will stick with Catholicism.

I need Kitsune to continue to joke while beating Steward's *** in this fight.

Especially since the Ukrainian president has just said that World War III has already started.

Re: 2022/03/11 - His Terrible Swift Sword
As Steward leaps up with a gods-fist punch,
GK turns up to make him lose his lunch,
As fireballs get thrown, they're then directed
Off to the side, but what's not deflected
Is a golden fox's teasing jest
That Celestials? He's not the rest-
Religion says fights should be old-school,
Sword warring full of mystique,
But for the one with a mana pool,
As folks know, he's a huge huge geek.
