King’s about to get toasted buns
as the Wolves get their carry in.
Pups playing with their adult ‘bros’
King needn’t worry himself thin.
King learns to let them play alone;
the boys won’t hurt his little squad.
They love the pups, these mighty three,
and think his protectiveness odd.
Reland shows up Miles’ difference
to King in how he lets things lie.
I really don’t think, despite ‘fire pup’,
they’ll let the little Corgi fry...

Tough times for King, as sometimes happens to him. :P At least, his puppies are having fun, as well as Miles' sons. :D Good title pun. ;) Better don't let Olive play with fire... :P
Nice work with this comic, Reland. :)

It would be the darkest comic ever if King just never reappeared in HP after this.

So from what I get here is that King is being overprotective but the wolf cubs who like it when his pups run wild are stopping him from going after them because they want to encourage their bad habits?

And we never see the wolves again either, except in a brief newspaper on Keene's desk saying they were arrested and then executed.

I've always wanted to ask if euthanasia was something that was done in the Housepets! universe but I was too afraid to ask. Since it might be too dark and inappropriate for the comic.

I'd assume it would be treated similarity to how one would "pull the plug" on a comatose patient or execute a human criminal in real life.

... Bailey then remarries (who?) and the pups go into counseling with Mungo. Darkening further, eh?

Yeah all of this I have to say does sound REALLY dark and not suitable to the rating of the comic. :?

I am more disturbed by how bad the pun is. This isn't even related to burgers. It might have something to do with cooking, but that cycles back around to being dark.

How to cook a corgi does pose a range of dilemmas.

I highly doubt anything they do will make King palatable, considering how stressed he tends to be. :P

You are the most deadpan, serious person I've ever met and I love it.

I find that the most deadpan and serious people are the most entertaining to be around so he has that going for him also. :D

Today doesn't look like it's King's day,
He's quite literally getting carried away
By the pack of brawny wolf pups,
How'd he get all tied up?

Olive must think that it's all a game
As she carries with her one large flame,
And Miles pretends to not see a thing-
No idea what the group'll bring.

Wonder how long it will take for anybody to begin to smell King's burnt fur? And for one of the wolves to somehow blame King who is all tied up?
