Title Text:

See, it's like saffron; lock up your really special ingredients, Max.

Tinnier continues his tour,
baking trouble for Max and Grape
as, in our naughty little minds,
some predictable thoughts take shape.
Cats may well love all his baking
due to the secret addition.
The ‘herbs and leaves’ he adds to food
Grape views with some contrition.
But Peanut proves she has Max wrong
and it’s plain for us all to see
as her brother walks into view
and confesses to drinking tea.

(Provided, of course, that it WAS tea...)

Catnip? Tinnier, you animal! Though I can see that "Magic Baking" may vary in ingredients, King may be facepalming at this as his pups are play pretending the arcade game NARC.

(some students back in Joel's days before PETA were doing stuff like Grape and Max.)

-

"BANG! BANG! BYE BYE CAT SCRATCH PUSHERS!" As Olive throws Water Balloons onto Grape and Max as the other two spritz them with Super Soakers.

"GOOD HEAVENS!" King is trying to catch the pups. "King Dad! They Baked Peanut!" "Care to explain Kingy?" Gold Kitsune jeered. "I let them play NARC. Sure, I let them play violent games but they now going after cats."

There is the (likely apocryphal) story about her demonstrating how to cook a turkey and, while removing is from the oven, she dropped it on the floor. Without missing a beat she say, "Remeber, you're the only person in the kitchen..."

Oh yeah, Peanut, that's a "tea" with a weird taste. :P Again dealing with catnip, Maxwell? ;) This time you wanted to use it even for baking, and maybe it's Breel who contaminated you two with baking. Grape looks so tired of the things Peanut does. :P
Good work again with this comic, Tinnier. :D

So what exactly happens when a dog ends up ingesting cat nip? I have a suspicion that it doesn't get dogs hyper like cats do.

Then again, Peanut is already hyper so if it does, WOULD there be any difference? Also, should we all just accept right now seeing the influx of guest comics that just he made that Tinnier is now the guest week comic maker?

I just had a lot of ideas (and still have enough to make more for future guest weeks). And (due to the whole pandemic situation) enough time to make them.

I would also like to thank everyone for all of the feedback and nice comments on my comics :D

You've been a welcome distraction in our dark time waiting for Rick to return! Nice work!

Your work is a lot of fun, Tinnier, and you've certainly captured the spirit of Rick's work. ;)

If Rick ever does decide to call it a day but wants someone to continue his comic you would be a worth successor. :D

Of course. We only say them because we mean them.

I assume you either ran out of comics because today is Wednesday, Rick is busy or Rick is planning a comeback. He did say he was planning a comeback after at least 2 months. That was June 2nd. Its August 4th now so the wheels could be in motion.

Like the slogan on the apron, that tea may taste a little "off" Peanut.

It's not grime on that bird; it's authenticity!

There is that and hopefully not botulinum that you will end up getting!

Hey Max, if that tea contains catnip,
Isn't it bad if Peanut gets a sip?
After all, it might keep him up all night,
But at least he'll be cheery and bright...

This was supposed to be special,
And now it's quite not,
So now we find Grape
Chewing spoons without a thought.
