Housepets!

Hey just letting people out there know: this weekend I helped work on a submission for the GMTK Game Jam, with our entry "Die Together"

We literally only had 48 hours to make it and, well, I'm not exactly a programmer myself (we had two though!) so it's a little buggy and it only has two levels so far, but I hope it feels interesting to play as a demo!

Thanks Rick, got it downloaded and installed o.k., first impressions, like the graphics, no surprise there I guess, now to get out of the first room.....

The premise is pretty neat, honestly. Awkward to use WASD keys, as I'm right-handed.

Regrettably, my hardware is apparently out of date, as the thing ran at like three frames a second. A good machine is really expensive. Got way too sluggish by the second level. Also, apparently I'm really bad at these games. I can't remember which die faces are where, and took me a while to figure out what each symbol meant.

Neat, I love game jam stuff.
I did some audio stuff at a local one a couple years ago and I had an absolute blast... it didn't happen last year, for the obvious reasons, but I'm saving up some vacation days now just in case it can come back.

Definitely gonna check this thing out when I've got a spare minute.
