I shudder to think how the mice and rats portray the Black Plauge in their own museams...

Spo's gone to the hotspots for the plague,
And his reasons why are really vague,
You have your history, I have mine,
Doesn't instill confidence that it'll be fine,
That he won't have brought back a bug.

He's seen England, he's seen more,
Loads of sights on an European tour,
But Fido still's a little wary,
'Cause the plague can be real scary,
You can't just ignore it, can you?.....*shrug*

"Us mice decided to travel the world using the humans numerous ships, letting us see so much more of the world! Then fleas happened, spreading the bubonic plague. It wasn't entirely our fault, but we certainly didn't help."

It’s funny that he knows that fact;
like they’ve discussed all this before.
I’d like to know how Spo did it;
he didn’t just walk, that’s for sure.
I think he got driven around;
a Mouse compartment on a bus;
seeing sights all over the place -
none of which he’ll want to discuss.
He may have stayed with families,
whether they know of him or not,
but only for a day or two;
bus tours don’t stay long in one spot.

Was I the only one who read the second panel like it was lyrics to Johnny Cash's "I've Been Everywhere"?

I like how it start with a few pretty common vacation spots for an American (human or mouse), then veers off into somewhat more obscure cities with a less obvious modern connection.

Eheh, obviously, Spo was attracted to visit places where mice did something relevant in the history, and doesn't matter if it was very bad for humans... :P Good he visited so many different and distant ones, though. ;)

Is anybody else a little bit nervous that Spo is interested in seeing all of these places in Europe because he wants to try to bring the Plague back? :|

I'm sure if he met Mickey and Minnie while he was over on the other side of the pond, he would probably insult them and tell them how much of an embarrassment to mice they are. After all, Spo is blunt and loves to insult people. LOL
