Pueblo is the cutest. Gotta love how he is as big as King

King's never gonna let Peanut live that down, is he

Also, how do the Sandwich's not know about it? Are they on vacation or something and just left Peanut and Grape in charge?

Wait a second, is the arc’s title really just ???
Also man has the art style changed or what?

King KNEW ALL ALONG. HAHAHAHA.

Still Bold of them to trust Peanut and Grape again after Save the Date. Even worse is that Peanut and Grape are trying again with more children.

OMG Pueblo is so cute. I'm so glad he's back and actually has a chance. PLUS Peanut and Grape arc. It's been so long.

Pueblo has neither a shirt nor a collar on. He's still a wild one!

The community’s coming together
and they’re doing it at Grape’s house.
A crew that includes Kits and pups
but they won’t accept a Mouse.
It’s great to see Pueblo again
(and to confirm who’s Rook)
as they play with their Auntie Grape
and the ‘nut reads a story book.
King reminds him of numbers,
recalling the panics that passed;
then they go and leave them in peace…
I wonder how long that’ll last?

It could be Rick hidding the title of the arc for a bit until he reveals it a strip, maybe is something super awesome. Or I could be wrong and the arc is actually called ??? ... only time will tell

Oh, this is going to be adorable as heck if this just follows P&G and babysitting everyone. I'm really interested to know the title of this arc. It's making it very mysterious. I love the call back by King there just great. :D

New arc? This could be interesting. We got 17 strips till the End Of Year 12. This could end with Craig & Draig interacting with King's kids, and maybe them seeing that they're his kids, and hatching some kind of scheme. But then again, Kitsune would probably show up to keep them in line.

Or maybe, given the tone and style of the dialogue, the focus is going to stay on King & Bailey heading out somewhere else. Maybe the new ECP boarding house to see how everything is going, and we get to catch up with Marion & Lois? I'd love to see that, personally.

With this many small animals this is going to be a cute arc. I'm also glad it won't be a rehash of Peanut freaking out about miscounting.

I suspect it's the same thing as Arc 42. ??? and Arc 50. TBD (now Chapter 42. Not All Dogs and 50. Housepets Babies! respectively). The real arc title would spoil something so we get a placeholder for now. Too true about the art style though. Both Grape and Bailey have lighter fur since we last saw them together so now they look rather similar to each other

It's not the first time Rick has begun an arc by not revealing its title to us.

I sure hope this is a new arc - the first babysit saga is one of my favorites. Also, the names below list "Rook" Instead of "the cougar kid".

No, they forgot Pueblo's tag (possibly as he's not wearing one himself). Rook's right there in panel #1

Love Rook's expression in the first panel and it's nice seeing Pueblo again! Wonder how his mother (whose name I forgot) is doing.

I swear Rook looked like a kitten at first. x3

I'm so stunningly pumped now. Are they doing this for money, practice or just being cool? Never expected them to make this into a gig.

Seems like they are saving for something. I guess Jill must work outside the house since she might notice a cougar cub in the living room.

Pueblo is adorable. I wonder if Peanut and Grape will rope Max and Tarot into helping them babysit.

Gale is Pueblo’s mom. She might be going after her nursing degree.

...Four's Corporation, Five's Conglomerate...
--
Grape's babysitting,
Well, that's fitting,
Just keep Peanut in line
And you should all be fine.

The parents don't know,
Well, time to show
How well they can care for kits
As long as they don't have fits.

I have to wonder if the rule that Pueblo couldn't eat anybody was from Peanut and Grape or if it was from Gale herself. XD

Very nice for the new arc story, sounds that's going to be funny to follow. :) Really no title so far for it? Eheh, it's nice that Grape and Peanut continues to babysitting, so they'll get used to kits when will be their respective time with Maxwell and Tarot, who knows... :P Ah, it's a sort of clandestine job your owners haven't to know. ;) D'aww, nice to see again Pueblo, he grew some more. :D He's tall a little more than King, and maybe that should make this last worry a bit. :P Right, Pueblo, you haven't to eat anyone, but you're allowed to just give a nibble to King for me. You're always so pensive, King, just follow your wife's choices sometimes... Yep, they're three, Peanut can count and learned that after the shock... :? :P

If this turns out to be an arc and not another one-off, that is.

It's not, it's listed at "???" in the chapter title list, which has been done before a couple of time to obscure a spoiler I guess. I'm sure we'll get a title soon. Pr this is one of the more obscure titles to date.

Fair to say my own chances of being eaten by a cougar I know are very very very small...
...especially now that I don't know when I'll see them again. :(

If I'm not mistake, this is the first arc featuring the "main cast" since I started reading back in December, and only like the 3rd page overall that has either of the two in it. Nice.
Love the callback to the other babysitting arc too.

This strip reminds me that we haven't seen Earl or Jill since 2015 in Housepets 3000 BC

I wouldn't be surprised if they do end up doing that because then how else will Craig end up interacting with Olive more and King finding out that his daughter is friends with his chief tormentor?

Is it too early to start shipping because of how young they are? xD

It would be fun to get all the small ones together - wonder if we'll ever see any of Cassie's "little stinkers"?

At first I thought this arc was going to be straightforward, but the arc title gives me second thoughts. If the real title is about something in a later strip that isn't in this strip, that would lead me to believe this arc is not going to be primarily about Peanut and Grape babysitting.

Are we sure that the comic is gonna be the beginning of a new arc and not just a one-off? Usually when Rick begins the next arc of the comic he will put the title in the strip.

The URL for the chapter pages normally ends with the name of the arc. However, instead of ???, the latest one ends in"seekrit". Either this arc is going to be about a secret or the name is a secret and there's a reason for not making a URL with ?s (perhaps it would interfere with the search bar).

Yes. If you navigate via the Select Chapter drop-down, this strip is not in Chapter: One-offs but its own group, Chapter: 129. ???.

Oh you know what I didn't even think of that. Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I really am interested in the name of this chapter now. I also like the fact that the latest chapter URL phonetically spells out "secret". XP
