King and Bailey just summed up the bulk of the discussions about Sasha over the last few weeks into a few panels.

The fact that she had to physically harm King for him to get over his hangs up and issues doesn't surprise me at all.

Remember that King's own pets were abused by his parents and ran away because of it (along with him in tow) so there is some basis for what he's saying. He's speaking from personal experience. Which begs the question if he told Bailey or anyone that story about his own kidnapping beside Fido and the other police dogs.

A nice little reminder that King still has many issues that still haven't completely gone away. And yes King, you are very pitiable but we love you anyway.

Yeah, King if you need to put some limits to others, do so!

1. Bailey is awesome. That is exactly the kind of spousal support that King needs.
2. Yes. It probably is time for another ear-pinching session.

He made a joke about that one too, if I'm remembering correctly

Personally I think King understands her needs too well.

I think what Sasha wants and what she really needs are two different things.
Bailey is right, if Sasha is the problem then King needs to tell her.
Also you could argue that if he explains it to Sasha she will understand it, it could take some time and he would have to say more than just "You're difficult."

The only issue I see is that Sasha takes it the wrong way and blames Bailey for something then runs off to find her daddy/owner.

Heh, true...you know, some reason, I read the title text in Mr.Torgue's voice (From Borderlands 2) and I just imagined Bailey going all Mr. Torgue on Sasha if she did try to run off i.e EXPLOSIONS (Sorry, was playing Borderlands last night).

But back on topic, Bailey does seem like the no-nonsense type so I can see her knocking sense into Sasha if she does try to either run off or play the Pity Me/Blame You game.

This is giving me more reason to believe Sasha won't be home by the time they get back.

IEasy solution, King - just teach her there are better things to do than smooching. It's all about the approach. x3

Yeah, she is really perceptive in things like that.
I'm just wondering:
Bailey does know about her cousin Fox having a HUGE crush on Sasha, but does she know about what happened in the showers of the spa?.
I could imagine Bailey would bring that up when she talks to Sasha. It wouldn't be surprising if Bailey has a few words to say about that.

You've got a good wife there, King, and if you think she only gave you a chance because you're "pitiable" you are selling yourself short, buddy. It would be a good idea for Bailey (or both)to talk to Sasha. King might feel a little more confident in enforcing boundries, now that Bailey has reassured him that its perfectly okay to have them and what happened wasn't entirely his fault.

We've known that for a very long time.

I've always liked that about her.

Bailey has always been a sticker for going with the simple solution. It's funny, too, since I find that her and Grape have that in common a lot. The only difference is that Grape seems to put her foot in her mouth and Bailey doesn't. Maybe it's because Bailey has more experience with age. =3

Bailey however was raised on a farm. She pretty much has the simple life motto that all the other pets don't seem to have because she is likely the least spoiled. It's just a question if she'll cave into King's own self-doubts, which I'm glad she is not. And hopefully King learns from Bailey's examples as well more.

They run to Mr. Hartford expecting the worse only to find out she went to Kevin instead. King apologizes and tells her that she can stay with them as long as she respect the boundaries but she chooses to just stay with Kevin like she should have done in the first place.

I'm just glad after I saw the newest strip that Bailey also agrees and acknowledges that Sasha is being intolerable as I was afraid she wouldn't.

Though Bailey has got to stop it with getting physical with King. First shaking him upside-down and now pinching his ears? Both Bailey and Fox seem to have a predilection towards assault and excessive force.

Maybe that's a Husky thing, like Fox constantly whumping on Bino. Or maybe it's just that King is so achingly cute.
Let's see what she does to Sasha when they get back home.

In Fox's defense Bino is very annoying, and most of the time he deserved the smack down.

This is the exact logic that therapists use when interacting with patients. Patients don’t get a free pass past boundaries just because they might feel hurt.

I'm glad that King has ended up being with someone who is really wise and understand like Bailey because lord knows he needs it at time.

I'm wondering how much that has to do with HIM and not Bailey since he is the cute one in the relationship?
