Well if Todd is the same age as Marion and Lois and Marion and Lois are high school seniors, then that would put them around 17 which means they have one more year before they become an adult legally at 18.

By adult, I'm thinking that the aardvark (Arthur) is at least a few decades older than him so even if Todd was legally it would still be kind of gross. Which is why my WMG was that the aardvark was around the same age as them: 17.

It’s been confirmed that Todd is in his 20s.

Also, we know that at least Marion was 17 at his graduation, and some time has passed since, it can be easily inferred that he’s either 18 or 19 now.

Well you see I didn't know that. I must have forgotten about that back when it was said and I didn't take into consideration the fact that some time has passed since they were transformed. I can't remember every finite detail of the comic.

Still, I am really hoping that Arthur is around their same age and not like 30 or 40.

Does the fact that they are now animals change the rules? I don't think the Aardvark is that much older than Todd, Marion, or Lois, maybe in his 20s, but I have nothing to base that deduction on.

Marion and Lois remind me of Maxwell and Grape, Max/Marion are both insecure and might feel unworthy of their significant other’s love and while both Grape and Lois might tease their boyfriend, heaven help anyone who truly hurts them.

In the current arc, I think that Marion might be able to elude Steward more easily, because of his smaller size, and the fact that squirrels are fairly commonplace, more so than red pandas or bobcats.

Hmm, possibly, but Cerb's comment to Tarot of 'A portal to Heck was detected in your vicinity' seems more like "Emergency Planar Shift" then "Everyone's Dead Dave" to me. I think both you and I prefer the latter idea, but I guess we'll just have to see.

In terms of other guesses I'm thinking of, I'm personally thinking that the HPU is set sometime in the late 2020's to the early 2030's, as Battery Electric Vehicles seem to be fairly common based on Itsuki's frustrated talking to his boss about the old lady who asked for an oil change on one (his frustration really seemed like "For the love of dog, this is common knowledge!").

If you want to get really technical, BEVs do have oil--just not engine oil. The reduction gearbox oil and the differential fluid do have service intervals though. Obviously this is not likely what the old lady was talking about.
