Housepets! Hunger Games
Housepets! Hunger Games
So I was inspired by the Survivor Housepets topic, which I thought was fun to watch. So, I was like, "Hey, Hunger Games would be entertaining!" Hopefully I don't get accused of copying the idea
Introducing, the 1st ever Hunger Games! This all purely done through an Imaginate session, so no characters were harmed in the making of this topic!
I tried organizing the districts by characters, but some random characters didn't really fit, but I still wanted to add them in (District 12 is a perfect example)
The Districts
I hope you guys got your popcorn! This is going to be very entertaining

I assume the characters in District 8 are also still alive at this point even if they aren't labeled that way? XP
Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
No they're all already deadAmazee Dayzee wrote:I assume the characters in District 8 are also still alive at this point even if they aren't labeled that way? XP
I'm kidding xD they're still alive. I guess I cropped a bit too much off the bottom of it.
Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
Daisy didn't make the cut? Sigh.
Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
Yeah, once I had all the districts, I had some spots open. I put some characters in a wheel and spun it, Daisy didn't make it unfortunatelyNHWestoN wrote:Daisy didn't make the cut? Sigh.
Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
Let the Games begin!
Jack doesn't surprise me, and once again Kitsune gets the best of Lester
Also Poncho, at least take an extra second to check the bag before running
And Sabrina already has a weapon. I feel like she's gonna do pretty well in this
Ptah just can't seem to win against Dragon
A lot of contestants already fleeing the Cornucopia, whoever stays is gonna get some good loot
Let me know what you guys think! Hopefully it stays interesting enough for you guys
Edit: Be sure to let me know who you're rooting for, see if you can guess correctly!

Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
There's so many great characters I don't know who to root for. But it's funny that Pete and Bino are already running Great stuff!

I like the idea of this a lot and where this is going! I do have a question though. What sort of generator are you using to get the actions and decide which characters are doing them?
Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
There's a hunger games sim online, so I put the characters in the sim and ran it. I can't really choose how they act, just what districts they're inAmazee Dayzee wrote:I like the idea of this a lot and where this is going! I do have a question though. Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
Jeez, there are a LOT of people who aren't sticking around the cornucopia
Glad some of the less physically gifted characters are snagging the good gear early on. Might give them an edge over someone like Satau
I hope for everyone's sakes, that the backpack doesn't have any weapons in it
I would call them cowards, but in all fairness, I would run too
Well, not much action yet! Hopefully we get more soon

Max and Res did pretty good. As did Joey and Zach. This is a very interesting concept and I am intrigued to see what happens and who will be the last pet standing:

Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
Joey gets his nerd gear, Zach becomes a reluctant warrior, and Delusional Steve is now the most dangerous player on the field. Sounds about right
Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
...and so to the first casualties?
Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
Felt like doing a nice big one today to get to the first death
We got some alliances forming temporarily as of right now, although the 2nd group seems a bit strange
More runners, at least Keene is doing something productive
slowly claps
Fido is now a formidable foe. Mungo is already a tank and now he has a shield. And Marvin has a shovel....maybe he's taking after Delusional Steve?
And the first death! I'm honestly very confused on this one, but anything can happen during an Imaginate session I suppose
And that is the end of the Bloodbath! Only one death, so looks like we're settling in for the long game.

Oh, no not Grape. Well, she can cheer on Max, Res, and Peanut. Interesting to see the alliances start to form. Fido and Mungo should be formidable. But anything can happen.

Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
There's some good alliances forming. Kari, Miles, and Jess are a good combo -- they've got the brains, muscle, and luck on their side. Fido and Mungo are pretty OP, though.
Massive F in the chat for Grape. Of all the potential first deaths, her's was one of my least expected.

Grape!! Well, what's the first law of a good horror movie? … anybody can die at any time. Still, most unexpected.

That stinks that Grape is the first victim of the game and had to be taken out like that but this is starting to get very interesting! She probably broke her neck when she fell in the pit.

Honestly Marvin might've dug the pit with his shovel, who knows?Amazee Dayzee wrote:That stinks that Grape is the first victim of the game and had to be taken out like that but this is starting to get very interesting! She probably broke her neck when she fell in the pit.

If Marvin was the one that inadvertently killed Grape, he better watch out because Peanut and Max will be looking to get revenge.
Or not...

Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
So it probably is not a very great idea to go after anybody he cares about. Last time I checked, spears are very good for going through soft, meaty, warm flesh.
Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
Day 1, let's see what the final 47 contestants have to offer!
Max loading up on more weapons, maybe he is preparing for revenge
Ah, the obscure characters are teaming up. Good to see.
The tributes are busying themselves. Gotta settle in before night!
I'm not exactly sure what Joey and Dallas are doing, they're in the same district....
5 bucks says that doesn't last through the day.

Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
Poison huckleberries time.
Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
So Kitsune is bush camping. Nice.
A large alliance forming for now, I understand Tarot and Sabrina. They probably picked Zach for his bow and arrows, squeak because she's small, and Cerebus for the muscle.
I think Fiddler scared King away with the tunes.
Honestly don't know if Mungo would have the heart to kill anyone. And I think Pete's already bored and just wants to be done

Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
Lester is pretty resourceful, and I agree I don’t think Mungo would kill anyone excellent under very serious circumstances. Maxwell now has two weapons, both of which could be used in non-combat situations (The hatchet to chop wood and the spear to hunt).

Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
I think Pete wants Mungo to kill him to prove that he is invincible and thus to strike fear into the hearts of Mungo and the other tributes before picking them off.

Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
I dig the Cerberus-Zach-Sabrina-Tarot-Squeak mega dream team. It was probably Sabrina's idea, since she's the diplomatic type. Idk if the random generator takes such alliances into account for future events, but I'd love to see them stick together in the future.
Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
Falstaff will probably end up taking himself out before he figures out how to use that
I thought he was gonna go get some kills. Kinda disappointed ngl
Keys is continuing his pacifist route, not sure how long he's gonna last
DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD DING DONG HOORAY THE WITCH IS DEAAAD!
Bailey was like the perfect person to do this, I am very happy right now

Agreed - waiting to see that happen in the actual comic...Hagus wrote:

I wanna know how exactly Bailey killed Duchess other than being told that she was killed. Did she stab her to death with a tent stake since she has camping equipment?

Maybe Duchess threatened the pups. I wouldn’t put it past her and Bailey doesn’t mess around when it comes to her pups.

Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
So here are where we are with the deaths so far now that this has started.
Grape – Fell into a pit dug by Marvin and broke her neck
Duchess – Stabbed with a tent spike by Bailey

Re: Housepets! Hunger Games
(another long one )
Fox is settling in for the long run, and I'm sure Lucrieta has a reason to help Karishad
I'd say out of all the alliances so far, this is the most shakey
And Keene proves himself a worthy warrior, but the sparing part confuses me. Maybe he has a plan...
Probably taking notes on how to forage for food
Besides Grape going down right at the start, the cats are really doing well for themselves
Time to recap how the first day went down! We started the bloodbath with only one death, an unfortunate pitfall by Grape (probably dug by Marvin). And it was fairly calm the remainder of the day, with only Duchess going down at the hands of Bailey (tent stake...?). And a variety of alliances have sprung up, which probably won't last long
Grape's death puts the Temple Crashers team down a member, while the other districts hold strong. District 2 leads the kill count thus far.
And a reminder of the other districts as well, at the end of Day 1.
Some storylines to keep track of as of right now:
Max amassing a multitude of weapons very early on.
Keys leads a life of pacifism.
Tarot and Sabrina lead the largest alliance, full of a variety of characters.
Everyone else is either settling in or doesn't have as notable of an alliance.
Stay tuned for Night 1!

Maybe Keene is planning to use Kevin as a bodyguard or something. This has been very interesting I look forward to seeing what happens next.
