They Changed It And Now It Sucks - The Site Died Edition

As the more observant among you undoubtedly noticed, Housepets! disappeared for a few days. We missed an update and, more importantly, my 11-year anniversary.
Our hosting provider decided, without notifying our point of contact in advance, to physically relocate the server Housepets! is hosted on. They did not document the network connections and, hilariously, plugged the server back in wrong. Obviously, we all thought that was clever and laughed a lot, sometimes slapping one another on the back between gigglefits.
The site has a new IP address, which may take a little while to propagate to domain name servers, so thanks for bearing with us as full access is restored globally.
P.S. What's up with this service provider? They obviously suck a lot.

Yeah that ISP really sucks!
(Seriously. I've never had an ISP be that unresponsive, or mess up a hosting config that badly before @.@)
Relatedly, we'll have a new provider soon!

I'm probably the only one the site isn't back for. -.- And its an issue on my end if that is the case. I emptied my cache and I cleared my history. Its only coming up if I use a proxy server.

It has been a bad mistake, but at least, it didn't last longer. Let's hope nothing like this will happen again... And, Happy belated Birthday to you, Dissension.

All I can say is THANK GOD the site is back for me again. I was really starting to get worried I would only be able to get on through a VPN.

Obviously they need a SDN (software defined network) so moving a server doesn't change its IP address.

The site's mostly working for me, except the background image isn't loading. It's trying to load it from

It's the anniversary of when Diss joined the forum which would have been Halloween 2008.
