I heard you all need some extra people for your RP. Are you still looking, because I'd like to join? I will say I've never done one of these before, but I've been wanting to join one.

It's been awhile since that was the case, but I'm still open to new players. Make sure you read this thread's opening post first, though. If you haven't done so, you will miss important setting details that would help get things moving when you get in.

I might just jump this to the next day. The holiday season was a bit of a drainer at the end of a bad year, and it might be easier to get things back in motion on day two.

I realized i never actually said, I'm (at least temporarily) pulling out of this one. Work leaves me creatively drained and i need to save my effort for the neighborhoods I actually run.

I did say in the opening post that I want to make descriptions very important during supernatural arcs, and would as such like to keep control of environment during them.

Think I might need to make announcements in the O.O.C. thread here of when we officially shift in and out of those, though.

Oh, I just remembered that this was a thing I was going to ask when done with the first mall arc.

Does everyone want to move to openly having their character sheets in the O.o.C. thread? I don't mind either way now. The introductory thread was the only one where hidden character sheets was genuinely important, but I could end up using that later down the line if we choose to keep it that way.

While I would appreciate more players, I have some hesitation with people just joining the forms, and another hesitation on being poked by PM with a demand to check on the thread less than an hour after it's been posted in order to give a response on a platform that might see a player once a week.

It's not personal, but the first of those two points means I have no idea what your ability to write is like, and that happens to be fairly important in a forum roleplay. The second just tells me you have no idea how long it actually takes for things to happen.

You read the forum rules enough to at minimum respect posting in the O.o.C. thread first, so I figure I should give you a chance to at least make a character sheet. I'll try to match you with a more fitting thread if I find your style doesn't fit.


Also, the HPU tag means this is meant to be fairly close to the Housepets! comic, and thus focus more on pets, so humans are generally not recommended for play. Here it goes a bit further, because playing a human means outright exclusion from major events in the roleplay. I've even dropped my first major hints to this in my last few posts.

I would highly recommend you don't. If you want something human or at least human-like, Beacon of Hope is there, as is Crater City.

So I've reached out to FG793 almost two weeks ago, and with the type of setting this is, I can run this with three players, at least for now.

Should we do so, or should we set this to 'needs more interest before it can resume'?
