Better have brought some way to charge that switch, the battery life on those things is terrible. Also, Rook(?) looks bigger than last time we saw him. Also also, seeing King happy is still weird.

Uggh Skyrim, really. I played Skyrim on Switch. I lasted less than an hour before I shipped back to Amazon to get my money back.

Is anyone else wondering why Ace is there but the other two are no where to be seen? Why are only getting one pup at a time?

I have this funny feeling King is not going to be the only one who’s bubble is going to burst by the end of this trip.

King is still so adorable when he’s in his little bliss bubble.

Cutting to the woods with the Cubs and Pups,
wandering past the place where nature sups.
The Ace still isn’t showing her lovely eyes;
when the world sees them, it’ll be a surprise.
It seems they’re still getting a signal out there
so there’s no need for the Cubs to despair.
They can still communicate with their friends;
a source of distraction that never ends.
They’re back where they came from, these guys,
dragged out by their dad despite their cries.
Bailey and King are more enthusiastic;
the pull of the switch is like elastic...

Ah, The Great Outdoors. Can We Go Home Now?

I'm surprised the pups are coming along. Guess it's better than looking for babysitters again. Honestly though, I'm hoping to see some father-sons bonding on this outdoors trip.

What, is Bailey related to Mungo or something? Not sure I'd be smiling if I were carrying almost all the luggage for everyone. At least she's got a good posture. Keep that back straight, Bailey girl!

Anyone else think it's adorable Ace is holding on to her mother's tail? Youse guys are waiting on baited breath (myself included) for King's bubble to burst when he realizes camping isn't as fun as he remembers it, but you gotta admit conditions turned out rather nice. There's shade, flat ground, and no underbrush (thorny or otherwise).

Please no. I'd die a little on the inside if Rick had the Switch destroyed like that.

I'm hoping it just dies and he realizes the forest lacks outlets.

Can't wait to see Friday's comic.

Today's first lesson - hunting for your food. Mortal Kombat style.

King better hope all that stuff Bailey is carrying can survive the trip D:

If this arc doesn't include at least one scene of Miles putting one of his cubs in a full nelson and showing them that being well-read doesn't mean he can't still kick their little punk butts, I'm gonna be disappointed. :P

Bonus points if they challenge him, and he just slowly takes off his glasses and says, "Lucretia, dear. Hold these please."

When did Miles go from reading glasses only to fulltime spectacles? Musta missed that.

You know what? I'm hoping that everything goes right for King for once, there's no surprises, and it's just this incredibly heartwarming all the way through just to give you negative ninnies a coronary.

Plus hugs!

(maybe some fox cubs, but they don't have any powers, so perhaps just a little slapstick shenanigans)

(and momma fox boggling at the idea of pets voluntarily hanging out in the wild)

Also, Rockstar Hawk is looking awfully grow-uppy this strip.

And Bailey is SO HAPPY I just wanna explode.

Boom, there.

This is going to backfire for Miles, isn't it? Hilariously, but still backfire

And what happens when the Switch battery runs out?

Given historical precedent I wouldn't say people are being overly negative. That said I second that. It would be great to see an arc where King is totally in his element.

What eldritch location is Babylon Gardens that it experiences humid weather in the summer? Once full summer hits in July, the mere thought of experiencing 100% rel. humidity becomes a strange and foreign concept for all who live in the forests of Cascadia.

Well, based on the Cory and Trinket arc Douglas Collier came up with this map:

Image

And based on it being 9 hours from Kansas I came up with:

Image

(everything blue outside the darkest area in the middle)

Rick Griffin apparently lives in Alabama or one of those eldritch locations the experiences humid weather in the summer, so there's that too.

Oh hey, Rockstar Hawk has a Neon Joy-Con Switch. Nice.
(That was the Switch system i intended to get when the system first came out, but settled on the Gray one after having
much trouble finding the system.)

I figured it was somewhere in Illinois. In the case of the missing Aztec gold that guy was in route from Springfield to Chicago. https://www.housepetscomic.com/comic/20 ... body-nose/
Plus Illinois is one of the largest producers of corn in the country.

It's nice see King enjoy a good time with his family and wolves friends. :D It seems that our little corgi missed the nature since many years. ;) Eheh, but, it's a bit weird see Bailey bring a much bigger backpack than King's one. :P The stern look of Miles... :lol: Eh, yeah, those are almost vanished memories now, Rockstar Hawk. ;)

Springfield is the capital of Illinois

There are four cities called Springfield that show up on Google maps - one in Nebraska, one in Missouri, one in Illinois, and one in Vermont. I'm guessing that Babylon Gardens is somewhere along I-44 or I-55 - possibly along I-80. I somewhat doubt that Babylon Gardens is in Vermont, but it's possible. Then again, Springfield could be anywhere - those four are just the ones that popped up on a search. I think the Springfield in Illinois is the most likely, though, as it's a state capital, so it Babylon Gardens is likely somewhere along I-55/53 (or alternatively on the I-72/I-57 route).
