So in this universe, Temple Crashers happened as early as the first year. Interesting.

Grape is done with the adventure before it even begins

This has just become my favorite Housepets! comic, canon or no.

Remembering the past is a good way to celebrate the future,
even in a world as chaotic as theirs has become.
It draws on history to chart their accomplishments
and shows how great the race that they have run.
It tells of a simple idea that’s risen to the highest heights
over the decade it has maintained its’ mastery;
even if it has become more than a little Chaokoic,
even if, all said, they’ve faced things a bit disastery.
So many awards from so fresh a simple narrative;
the world of the bold, with grace and charm assets.
I wonder if you can see where I’m going with this yet,
or if I could have made an easier rhyme for HOUSEPETS!?

Now, to make it even better, I REALLY need the text for what Peanut is screaming in panel 4 so that I can translate it and have it put into the animation.

Starting an rpg vs 50+ hours in an rpg

Great job emulating both the original style and the current style (even if it is personalized). Can anyone tell what exactly Peanut is yelling in the last panel.

It's hard to imagine that it's been ten years. It's a real nostalgic feeling seeing this, especially with that old style call back. Kinda inspires me to try and start my own little adventure.

The third panel is actually in reference to arc 10: The Grove, AKA the first appearance of Pete. The second and last panels are both a nod at the latest arc, as well as Peanut's routine of waking up Grape to tell her about something Tarot invited/dragged them into.

Ah, I hadn't considered the translations! I'll leave the text for everyone else to guess, though for those in charge of the translations I can actually give you the text and then put the translation in the animation if possible.

And thank you for the kind comments everyone! Really glad you've enjoyed this comic. Despite my busy schedule I was really compelled to make this one in particular, and wanted to make sure to make it extra special for the anniversary!

Well, I'm noticing a "Tails of Babylon" reference in there, but I haven't kept up with the development much. Not sure what the crystal is or what might happen to the world

Took a while to see the mention of the primary antagonist. Neat detail, Chaoko!

Cool comic, and it's the first time of an animated one, too. Eh, those are the good old times, where your imaginate sessions were only made of imagination, indeed, but then, what you wished became a bit too much true after the discovery of that temple... And nowadays, yeah, Grape is too sick of them.

I just noticed that the style change was deliberate! That's a really cool (and obvious) detail that I can't believe I missed.

Whoops my hand slipped and the entire design of the characters got switched around, glad ya caught it.

Darn, you should keep a better hold on your pencil . Accidentally switching colors and art styles is a very common occurrence. :/

This is probably the most high quality guest-strip to date!
The animation alone is a real proof of effort and really good-looking, but the art shift, the dialogue, the use of light and shadow effects, and the punchline all add up to make it a real beauty!

The then and now style mixes great with the subtle animation here. I like it.

Finding a crystal is how the demo currently available ends. As for the antagonist mentioned, seems that the names Nue and Olde are there, just mostly obscured by Peanut.

I like how it's all gif instead of just a panel...

As a community, one thing we could do (unless CHAOKOCartoons says it's unsportsmanlike) would be to use the other language versions. Different languages would have different parts visible between Peanut and the couch. If people can translate the visible parts of other versions back to English that could give us clues to what the partially and fully obscured words are.
