I got a bunch of 502 errors as well. They come and go. Haven't had one for a bit, but it was unusual.

EDIT: And of course, the second I hit send, I got another 502 error.

Same here, off and on. Something's amiss....

well, given the error in question relates to server-to-server communication problems and since the likelihood of all three of us having the exact same ISP is almost 0, (i'm not even in the same country as CD) it's not likely to be the user or the middle man, so hopefully one of the admins can take a look at the site's server.

According to Hlaoroo it's an issue with the host server.

Good on 'em! I'm still having 502 errors intermittently tonight.

I’m getting a lot of them too. But only on my iPad for some reason. My phone hasn’t gotten one yet.

Weasyl experienced an attack by spammers. They discovered there was no character limit to journals so 87 accounts were posting massive journals that were crashing the server. They've all been deleted now and the Weasyl team is closing that hole in their code. I suppose we may have a few issues over the next couple of days while they straighten things out on their end.

We do apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience, guys and girls and everyone else. It's as much a pain for us as it is for you since all we can do is hope the Weasyl people work fast.
