Mungo loves every single book, including that of the famous Housepets! series by Rick Griffin which can be bought on amazon for $13.95 (plus shipping and handling)! We promise it will meet up to literally all of your hype, expectations, art of literature in general!

Hahahaha Gotta love Mungo's enthusiasm !

Don't worry Res, I'm sure Pridelands VII will live to the hype. It. Has. To.

Just remember, if the last book flops it won't be your name the fans curse. Just your owner's.

Shakespeare and Dickens would buy it!

It's never good to meet your heroes,
even when you're becoming one.
Confidence can be knocked back to zeroes
when the other guy is just having fun.
Poor Res doesn't know he inspires
guys to stand up tall and be seen.
His words light internal fires;
smoke rising, strong and clean.
He's reminded of his pressure,
he's reminded of his evil task.
This was to have been a refresher.
Is an answer too much to ask?

Maybe he could write in the seventh book about a temple in the desert that was promising equalty to all... and then the protagonist and his camarades had to explore it...
But since it would be a filler, Res would still have to write an 8th book... But he wouldn't have to do it right away

He'd still take it hard. Remember, he's got a great deal of respect for his Owner, since she got him out of the Heretic life of a Stray. If her name gets cursed, he'll never forgive himself.

Poor Res, the one time he needed a Break, a fan unknowingly drops more pressure on him... Worst part is, Mungo doesn't even know what he's just done.

Mungo at the beginning who tries to ease the tension of Tarot's scary aura by laughing ^^

And it's alright, Res! I'm sure the next book will be awesome ;)

Res can rest easy; He'll find his muse amusing in the maze most amazing. A celestial circus of literary hyperbole. Mayhem may ensue as a book idea comes through.

Second comic in a row that we're seeing significant interaction between Mungo and Res... I'm further convinced that these two definitely are the descendants of Satau and Ptah. There's no reason* for them to be getting a good amount of interplay unless these two specifically are going to be working together (or against each other?) later in the arc, so I think that's because of their historical (and magical) connection.

*Okay, yes it could be they just worked well for two one-off jokes in a row - but I think that'd be a suspicious coincidence.

SO WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO LET MUNGO KNOW WHAT BOOKS RES WRITES.

It's inevitable, now.

You're so cute, Mungo. :D Res lives in Canada, it's obvious you can't seem him around. ;) Eheh, our books writer cat can't still realize the pressure of his success... :P It's impressive that a big dog like Mungo likes his stories. :) We already got to see that they're not books for only cats, though. :P

Also, don't put so much in Res being a tabby: MUNGO IS LARGE HAM like Satau, but Res is kind of like the reverse of Ptah.

I... Am not sure if you mean the, 'He likes guys' option, or if you mean the old term for it, which means, 'Happy/Great'.

I mean, Decades ago, 'Having a Gay Old Time', meant, 'Have a Great/Happy Old Time'. Then again, there are several who still have a 'Gay Old Time' anyway... If you know what I mean. ;)

Peanut: So Res, are you going to write the next book of Pridelands after we finish up here?

I'm sure a Fan Boy Mungo would be a dangerous sight to see. We've already seen how dangerous his hugs are.

The old term, yeah. Because the way he reacts... it's just adorable. <3

Well, Mungo is a certified therapy dog ... And poor Res sure could use a little tenderness about now. I guess the surge of triumph after pummeling the Purple-People Eater was transitory.

So, I know that Res is in kind of a stressed out place right now, and probably isn't thinking of this, but you'd think he would be interested in finding another dog that likes Pridelands.

I mean, aside from Joey, only cats went to the signing. Grape expressly stated that the books felt like they were written for cats, that's part of how she figured out that he wrote them. Ideally he would want to talk to dogs that like the series and find out what parts of his writing speak to them. Something like that could help broaden his focus for a future series.

Just something I've been thinking about.
