I'm not going to say you're predictable but, even before I actually read your post, M'dear Deer, that tune had started going through my head.

A classic, I have a soft spot for 80's and 90's cheese! It was a hard choice whether to link to that or

Ordinary world is a classic as well, used to be able to play the solo, an underrated guitar part, there is a clip online somewhere of their guitarist doing an instrumental version, sounds great, also partial to a bit of AHA too.

I always say I will get into the spirit of whatever holiday is coming up but I never do. Though this year its because I'm dealing with pain issues.

What do you mean we had a koi pond? Do you mean you and your family IRL or do you mean the chat thread coz folks like to pretend stuff like that? owo

koi or frogs? (What's the plural of koi anyways?)

We had frogs that would like to chill around our koi pond when we still had it. Now I haven't seen any in a while.

Also, pretty sure the plural version of koi is still koi. :ugeek:

FritzyBeat wrote: Sat Feb 12, 2022 7:20 am Yesterday was my 10-year anniversary of joining this forum, though I didn't return from my nearly 6-year-long absence just to post about that, rather, that is more of a happy coincidence.

I did a vanity search about 30 mins ago just for the heck of it and discovered people wishing me a happy birthday here last year even though I was long gone, so I decided to log in just to see what was up and discovered on my profile that I joined the forum on Feb 11, 2012. Man, how much time has gone by.

How is Fino doing? I hope you are treating my baby kindly >u> *shot*

Anyway, seeing as I have been MIA for longer than I've actually been active here, this isn't really an achievement or anything. I just thought I'd stop by and say, hey, thanks for wishing me a happy birthday a year ago, and I hope you are all still doing lovely ^^ Every once in a while an old friend from this forum who somehow still remembers me stops by my Youtube or my Discord server and says hello, and I always appreciate that <3 Figured this time I would return the favor =)

Cheers~
Gonna wish you Happy Birthday again today, Fritzy! ;)

I think that you got that saying wrong honestly because pulling up on a plunger is a way to bring something that is clogging the toilet up back in the bowl. We don't want 2023 back. We want it in the sewers.

Ah vocabulary drill. Plunger is, as you rightly note, Amazz, a term for a tool used to unplug a commode. It can, however, also refer to the grasp used to pull a chain which flushes the bowl. The sort of plunger to which I refer is pretty rare these days and, where found, is usually attached to a water tank mounted above the seating (think of the scene in The Godfather where the pistol Micheal will use to assasinate the police chief and a rival mob boss is hidden behind such a contraption in the restaurant men's room).

There now, wasn't that ... boring? ;)

I know what you are talking about as back at our old house our toilet had issues with the chain coming undone from the grasp. Though I never called any of that the plunger and just referred to it as a plug. Also a plunger is what is in the syringe that pushed down the medication to be administered too.

The more you know.
