Okay, but now what? Will Peanut retreat to his "secret-chamber"?

Peanut, you're too cute to have an evil grin.

It's not the 'evil gleam' that got me, it's the look of pure joy on Grape's face in panel #4.

Crawling through the cushions,
chasing Peanutty tail;
pursuing through the plushies,
Grape isn't going to fail.
Going fast on hands and knees
over carpeted floor;
she chases him down and sees
a way not seen before.
Bursting out on a bright eyed Nut
is the way to surprise;
Grape acts, on the theory of gut,
and hits between the eyes.

I don't care if I'm 23 years old, I want a pillow fort like that!

Also, this is a new look for Peanut. Surprisingly good.

If this is based on Sunomata then Peanut should have a secret tunnel hidden somewhere.

And she didn't even have to bring down the fortress. Peanut should take Grape's adivce more seriously next time.

One has to wonder why you'd even HAVE hinged trap door pillows in a pillow for meant to trick the "it" by trapping them in a series of short tunnels made so that they could never actually see the hider. :shock:

Peanut initiates the boss battle.
I want that pillow fort, and I want it now.

Peanut actually accomplished this in 100 seconds?

... Man, that's a talent. He could go places, but sadly it'd probably be as a dungeon builder for a villain.

(He could probably make some amazing levels in Super Mario Maker.)

Yep, definitely more Grape's triumph than Peanuts' attempted evil gleam. I'm sorry, pup, but no matter what you may have read recently it can only let you pretend you have the evil genius of a Sima Yi-you don't have 'evil' in you. (That was Hefei, but I don't know Sunomata offhand.)

Thanks to have entered in the fort pillow for us, Grape, and also because of your feline curiosity. ;) Eheh, Peanut is trying to catch you in some trap, but it's who who got caught. :P Now it's your turn to count, I guess. :) You fail at doing the evil face, Peanut, because you're too cute for it! :D

How many cushions do the Sandwiches have? It almost looks like Peanut used the whole neighbourhood's supply of pillows. Silly Peanut, speaking gives your position away.

Now where did I put that internal-use otter oil...

I don't know, I just don't find worried felines adorable even when they turn the tables within the minute. (Now my cat who spent months poking everywhere he could on and under the circulating pet fountain trying to figure out where this magic stream of water came from, that was cute.)

Looking back on this arc, i missed the chance to comment how much i loved the detail on Grape's white fur drawn from that angle in the first panel. It shows nice detail on how deep her fur really is :3
