Housepets!

I have been beating my head against comic scripting lately and it just hasn't been clicking and I don't know why, so I'm taking a break.

As usual, if you have any guest strips please direct them to [email protected]

And please remember ahead of time that the comics should be sized for the website . . . the exact width is 900-something pixels I can never remember but let's just say no larger than 1000 px wide

I hate to push ideas when the best I could draw to go with them would be geriatric stick figures, but if there is somebody better able to do the art and a lack of guest comics I do have a fairly simple one that could cover two strips.

I have an idea if anyone is willing to draw it. If not, I might try drawing it myself, which could yield some...interesting...results.

I submitted my guest comic yesterday!



I hope it's good...

If it was me, and i had the free time to edit something, i would just grab a dozen old strips, change the third and fourth panels so it looks like one of the pets flubbed their line, tripped, went off script, an extra walked on set, etc, and the others are reacting to it, as if the comic is a show and the pets are actors.

Fake outtakes.

...Actually, that might be a fun thing to do over in the fan area. Would that fall under one of the existing threads or be something new?

If it's taking existing images, I'd imagine it would be in the Photoshopping thread. That'd be fun to see, actually.

I think it would count as a new thread since it's not just changing the colours of the housepets and not just fanart.

Is guest week over now?

I made a guest comic, and submitted it within the first week. Not that I'm complaining, after seeing all the ones that were excepted, mine was so weak, both in punchline and art.

Well, I'll just leave this here as well then.
I did enjoy making this a lot, and I would like to draw more Undertale/Housepets stuff, if anyone would like me to.

Here's the comic I did. It really pales in comparison to everyone else's work.
I sort of just drew a conversation between Peanut and Grape, and thought of the dialogue to go over it later. The art is really weak... mainly because I did it with my finger, due to not having a stylus.

I feared it might not be clear even at a higher resolution than rick specified :/ He's pouring Sprite on a water bottle on the second and putting treats in a seemingly vegetal sandwitch on the third one.

Yes, you need to show better bottle and box, the gag depends a lot on them^^
