That's why you're supposed to ease them in to luxury. Throwing them into it isn't always a nice exposure. Much more so for a feral.

This is why on most redecorating shows, they have a segment where they tour the original premises and ask the owner what they'd like to change. At least the ones I've seen.

Wow, that's really cool! Impressive result, great work, it's such a nice home. Karishad can make miracles, ok (like cut down the old tree ), but here there's certainly the help of others from the staff... Oh, the thieves up there are fighting, and the others can't neither hear the noises from above, weird. So, Falstaff, maybe is the case to leave the floor to Cory? What's the jar they're fighting for? Anyway... how come you can't, Jess!? You miss the old natural wood tree? But you'll get used to the new one...

Also, this is just wishful thinking, but I kinda want those Four to stay with the Tower if she really does turn it down. Provided that Karishad doesn't just get it bulldozed, but I don't think he'd be that cruel.

That having been said, muffins and cookies good job on the POV in the house here. Bravo!

Unfortunatly, they've failed to account for the fact that the person they were building this home for was a feral prey species, and not even a group-oriented one that had the security of numbers they could rely upon.

In addition to the windows being a huge predator vulnerability, the house is Too Nice, and ferals can't exactly rely on legal protection; if she wants to stop someone bigger and meaner from taking her home by threat of force(or actual force), or just looting it, she has only herself and any friends she can convince to help, if any. And a fancy house isn't worth your life. Even if it were, she has to go out, and could expect to sooner than later find it's been ransacked and/or someone higher on the foodchain has moved in when she comes back. Security system? They can hack and bash away at it all day; no police, no help will ever come.

Whole place is basically a big, obvious trouble-magnet for someone in her position; won't be able to keep it very long and it could quite possibly get her killed.



...also I wouldn't be surprised if there're no other exits she can use if a predator decides to camp her front door.

I think she qualifies as a low-level predator.

I've never seen that stop a "makeover" style show before (we've had countless debates about this in my household: "They turned that starving man's car into a giant practice target! How long do you think before someone steals it?")

To Griffin: Seriously with drawing this Tower you've outdone yourself, the details are great and from my personal experience I remember it takes one hell of a lotta work to produce something like this. Just had to say that.

That's a gorgeous scene, really.

Also if she doesn't live in it I'm sure somebody will! Or... it gets struck by lightning and status quo returns.
