I'm not sure it particularly matters, does it? It's just a wild(ish) animal with no speaking parts.

Its face tends toward looking male (especially second panel here), and its hips aren't particularly wide. Not perfect indicators but I'm guessing male for now.

Well since women in the neolithic era did the growing of crops, grinding corn, spinning and weaving clothes and producing pottery rather than hunting and gathering, I would say that its probably a male rather than a female.

But what about animals? Which gender does the hunting depends on the species.

Though I will say that the sabercat looks male to me, we've been wrong before, such as with Cerberus (even before the style change, there was a hint of femininity to her).

From it's markings it's closest relative would likely be a leopard or jaguar, both of which are solitary. No social structures to define roles. so figuring it out that way is out.

I'm going by the fact that their structure would be the equivalent to cave people structure just like HP! pets structures is the equivalent to our structure.

Sadly, nature knows no gender.

Bino and the others nearly beat Grape up one time, but they probably didn't know she was female either. =P

I'm taking it the head pattern makes the difference for the gender of the sabercat. Now i just need to know if it'll show up in the zoo somehow =3
