And Max is here! Woot! I always wanted Peanut, Grape, and Max to go out on some temple like quest, Gallifrax was sort of casual, not a lot of magic involved.

First thing I saw was when I uploaded the comic was the title. Even if the comic didn't fully upload, I would still feel satisfied.

...wait, how does Max know King was involved with the Celestials?

Also, crescendo of creative profanities? I heard a particular one from the Nostalgia Critic, I wonder if it was anything like that.

His 'grandstanding' was him trying to impress his girlfriend when one of their friends is powerful enough to shift them to another reality where, oh, yeah, they couldn't talk to humans or walk on two paws... Wouldn't say it was all his fault. And he was the one who managed to get through to Dragon in the end so he also, sorta, saved the day.

Max was probably filled in after by Tarot after he met Dragon in her room. crescendo of creative profanities, yep that is definitely the Nostalgia Critic, also very much like King. I do love the continuos jokes about Kings foul language.

So much to say... Apparantly Jata was a special case of working off his worry, but i'm glad he's not as much of a worry-wart as we're lead to believe. I'm also extremely excited to see that he's going to the temple as well. I can already see him trying his best to be a warrior... only to be a Bard. :3

Calling it: Peanut is a Paladin and Grape is a Hunter. In a amusing twist: Tarot is the thief, but likely The Healer (Druid, Priest, debatable)

I would have imagined Bailey would have wanted to go. I know she'd be just as determined as Sabrina and Tarot to make sure no trace of this Game gets left behind.

I'm actually quite surprised he's cool with it! Maybe cats are less prejudiced than dogs. Though I'm surprised he doesn't feel more threatened!

Maybe the Gym workout hasn't worn off him just yet. Also, Grape called Max to ask him out, so I think Max can cope because Grape picked him.

One other thing, looking at Satau, I surprised he's not all shiny just yet.

I don't blame King for not wanting to go with. If I had been through the stuff he's been through, I wouldn't want to go near anything related to any of the bad things that happened to me either.
Also, yes, where are the gold edges Karishad painted on Satau?!

Well we have been told that Max usually thinks Grape's crushes are funny (alt-text), though it's probably more personal when the object of her affection is right there in front of him.

I'm not sure if Max thinks they're funny (considering that strip is five years old), though you may be right that he has an issue if the person is right there.

I always did recall that alt-text about Maxwell giggling over Grape's crushes. I hate to admit, though - The problem was there was not enough evidence to support that Maxwell was serious or not about Grape crushing on people. I was almost sure Max wouldn't mind Grape acting all fangirly. He must've had alot of fun times watching her act like that. But when Jata came along , he was the first serious worry for Max... and I'm sure even Max would worry about a royal cat prince. x3

So I just chalk it up to Rick being sneaky and showing us Jata before Satau :3
