Jess, you can't attack the people with food in your mouth. It's rude.

Swallow first than you can carry on.

Technically oppossums, can get rabies, but they're 8 times less likely to than wild dogs. Still, that's a pretty good track record.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Jess is a fighter, Jess is a queen;
Jess is the boldest girl Zach's ever seen.
You treat her well; you treat her right
or the next thing you treat is from her bite.
Zach's got a girl, Zach's got a worry,
Zach's gotta control her temper in a hurry.
You eat corn dogs, you see, not a child;
unless you want the Wolves to get riled.
The Human won't trust her, the human won't know;
as far as he sees, the threat must just go.
You could be persuaded by the slight grey Rabbit;
but Jess in temper trouble's getting a habit...

Sweet, Jess is here.
Now, stop her from biting that kid so you two can go make out behind the corn stall...

Also, it occurs to me that Jess might try applying for a petting-zoo position, though I'm not sure she's good with children.... or anyone, for that matter....
Either way, this is the first we've seen of her since she and Zach started courting, so I hope that's addressed...

Why delete it, it's awesome? Or do you mean the second message?

For all of those people who think Jess is going to get violent, remember that Jess is trying to prove that she's not rabid! More likely she'll next be shown with a very calm expression, perhaps nonchalant, with one kid petting her and another playing with her ear.

Or maybe this:

Panel 1: Jess starts walking toward a small child. Zack can be seen cowering in a corner, afraid to be involved in what might happen. Still, he peers out from behind his hiding place, hoping nothing goes wrong.

Panel 2a: Jess is halfway between Zack and the child, and the child sees her. Instantly the child goes as straight and rigid as a board.

Panel 2b: We see only Jess's feet as they take another step.

Panel 3: The child falls down, pretending to feint. Parent says, "what are you doing?" Child whispers, "maybe if it thinks I'm dead it won't bother me!"

Panel 4: Jess leans over the child and says, "you know that never works, right? Want a balloon?"

(Optional)
Panel 5: The child screams, "FLUFFY!" Jess is now being SuperHugged by the child and can't breathe. Parent watches balloon float away. Zack can be seen in the background holding his stomach and laughing up a storm.
Dag nabbed petty annoyances...

You're suggesting Rick would stoop to ship teasing? Heresy! Ahem.

And corn dogs are one of those terrible things that somehow make you want to try them again, they're awful and still hit the spot. Well, maybe not the spot. A spot. Some kind of spot, anyway. They're sort of the American archetype of Dibbler's sausages.

"The thing is that Mr. Dibbler can even sell sausages to people who have bought them off him before."

I've tried them before, Didn't like them at all. Kinda like an undercooked hotdog in an overcooked bun, only the bun kinda tastes off and there's no easy way to add onions to em...

So basically hotdog gone wrong.
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Jessica couldn't miss, and she's enjoying to eat corn made stuff (she's being the only one, apparently :P). ;) If she entered illegally, then the other critters can, too. Let's wait to see the raccoons, hoping that they like corn. :P So, is Zach receiving his first pets? :lol: Corn dogs aren't new to me, I wonder how they taste. :) No, Jessica, there's meat in them. ;) What a bad and ignorant prejudice! But, you must not threaten that way, Jess... Don't bite the kids, only dingos can... :P

That might be my problem, cornbread's one of those American things I never really got into. The funny thing is that... even though I don't think I actually like them... once I've had one corn dog my body says "give me another one NOW brain" so there's something almost mystically compelling about them.

[Why do I eat that first one? If you're at a place where corn dogs are being consumed, and someone hands you one, you're a jerk if you don't accept. And, yes, some parts of America that's really a thing that happens. Repeatedly.]

The difference is probably the fact that it's fried.

There's other fried corn bread things out there and I've never found them compelling, not even at Long John Silvers which is like the neighborhood church of weird fried things. Maybe it's because they're not magically wrapped around a cheap fatty sausage.

I don't know if it will be good for me to analyze this too deeply. I'd rather pretend it's magic.
