Horray.
Now answer what Sarah's relationship with Ralph is...

would a 10-month-late installment be inappropriate, though?

I am going to go offline until I can afford a very powerful computer. It may take years but If I'm not back, then I would return eventually. Who knows.

I'm back. Highly doubt I'll ever get a really powerful computer since my family bled dry. They were willing to pay me for my help but then they got careless with their money and went broke.

Still, I am willing to give this a whirl.

Monday, November 15th, me and the missus are going down to Florida for her nephew's wedding. Should be interesting. He and his bride are young, rich and profligate; Her brother (whom I like) and his former wife (not so much) are cordially cold but combustible. Might get colorful. :? Might do some visiting, maybe back to Laurinburg and Pemroke, NC, to see friends and the old campus where I taught. Or not. Back on 26 November, we hope.

Sophie will board at a kennel she knows and enjoys. They have a good vet who works there if something goes amiss. No real mediciines for "abandonment anxiety" though, poor darling. :(

Be well all, Happy Thanksgiving, and God bless. :D

Hope that you have a fun trip! And that it is safe and easy! Just be careful what buildings you stay at in Florida.

H'lo, all. Missus and I are back and reunited with the indomitable (if now lame in a different leg) Sophie. Hope all of your had good holidays but - that said - I'm sorry to hear reports of new Covid outbreaks among yers. (It's coming back hard north of Boston, boys!). Saddened, too, to read of your loss, Dayzee, and my deepest condolences.

I’m baaaack~ :D

Think I forgot to post it in this thread a few days ago but I went down south to see family before Christmas. Trip kinda sucked though, besides seeing family for the first time in five months; aunt’s baby got us all sick (which is ironic because the grandparents woulda kicked us outta the house if it were us who were sick first), missed out on a bike ride with my grandpa (didn’t have the time), and halfway home yesterday the minivan’s transmission broke and we got stuck at a gas station for a couple hours.

Tow truck driver was real nice! Guy let us all sit in the cab of the truck for the 200-mile ride home. Somehow we didn’t get his name…

But fortunately we’re home for Christmas. And now I’ve got time to log back onto the forums again!
That sounded better in my head

Forgot to mention this but on the 26th I went away to Vermont to visit relatives and yesterday I came back. Funny how you don't really notice a 4-hour car ride when you are binge-watching Law and Order: SVU.

Welp, I'm back, had a good break, I'd forgotten quite how cold the sea is at this time of year, was going to draw a pic of me shivering whilst paddling but have subsequently realise I can't draw waves, something else to practice I guess.
