Came back from my trip and I am still in one piece. I have to say though I am really worried about how frail my grandparents look. Also my grandfather apparently has dementia.

Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.” But [The LORD] said, “Yes, you did laugh.” - Genesis 18:15 (NIV).
I only heard my aunt say it because when I was with him he certainly didn't seem like he was admittedly. He did seem to be very impatient and more likely to snap. I just figured that was because he was getting up there since he is in his 90s.

Leaving Fanfiction writing until my internet improves. After all, I can use my phone's internet but I can't keep consistent internet at home, and even then I'm using a cheap prepaid plan.

Are you leaving the forum though or are you just gonna stop writing fanfiction until your internet improves?
Not leaving the forums, just going to stop writing fics until my internet improves
So one of my biggest fears is something happening to me and nobody knowing and thinking that I just vanished into thin air which is I feel like I need to say this. On the 5th of August, I’m going to visit my sister in North Carolina on a plane and on the 16th I am coming back. In the VERY extremely almost impossible unlikely ability that something happens, if you don’t hear from me and read about a plane crash in the US with no survivors, that’s why. I know that it is not gonna happen but I like to keep my bases covered. I’m not afraid of planes but I am afraid of people thinking I just left when I actually am dead.

I understand completely Dayzee. I mean, to be perfectly honest I would be in the exact same position you're in when it comes to traveling. Hope you have safe travels.
Don't panic, Dayzee, everything will be fine. Have a good trip

I actually looked up the last plane crash that happened in the US a few weeks ago. It was in 2009. Twelve years without a plane crash should keep me calm.
If not I have Lorazepam that my doctor prescribed me.

Besides, even if it did crash, airplane crash victims have a nearly 95% survival rate, even if they did fall from great heights into deserted areas or urban developments. They almost always manange to survive.

“If it bleeds, it leads” is a cynical statement about newspaper headlines, but it applies here too.
You’ll be fine, Dayzee, just try to relax and maybe play some music or such during the flight. I don’t know if you have an iPhone or iPad but they do have Golden Girls episodes in the iTunes Store. Might help you relax.

Well, my dad nearly died on us, my mom not being a good help. I'm gonna take a leave. I don't know when I'll be back but considering the world getting madder by the instant, I'd probably be dead long before I am able to come back.

Take care

I'm back. Things got a bit better, but I needed some time to myself. Still doesn't change the fact that the world's gone mad but at least I'm not going anywhere. (I hope not anyways.)
Welcome back. I've learned that episodic detachments from the madness is essential for balance and good mental health. For example, I tried for the last two years to limit my exposure to the friskies of a certan prominent individual in American society to only three days each week. Time spent with animals is also very restorative in my experience.
Just going to take an extended leave. I might not return again but to live on your own you must give everything up and rebuild from scratch. I will see you again soon.
That's alright, Mike. I had a few jobless periods in my life and, despite my best efforts, my family worried and fretted a lot. Such situations are never easy passage. Just keep telling yourself that "this @#$%&' ENDS." Because it does. Getting to that end is the challenge. High hopes and very best wishes.
