I'll repeat myself once again: this idea that the forum is dying is ridiculous and we don't have to worry about it. Its slow because Rick hasn't been doing the comic. Once he gets back to it I'm sure it will pick up again. Stop it with the doom and gloom. Just change the narrative. The forum so far is fine.

Don't wanna sound negative, but I too think that the forum is dying. There are barely any updates to the comic since the end of Heckraiser and also forums in general are deemed to be outdated and mostly have been replaced by Discord servers and such, so no wonder that the activity is quite low and most new members are actually just spambots. But I don't think the forum will be shut down in the nearby future unless Rick comes in and says otherwise

You guys can believe what you want but I won't ever say the forum is about to die. Unless Rick HIMSELF comes on and says that the forums are being discontinued and he is locking all the boards I will not believe that the forum cannot be revived.

You have to let writing come naturally to you so you can enjoy it and be proud of what you put together. If it is something that you are not happy with and hate how it came out, then it is not worth the hassle to create it.

Just curious about how bad it was for you and if you were very sick with it to the point you might have to be hospitalized as I don't want to think that happened. When I got it I was fine except for being just a bit more tired than usual.

when i got it, i just had a headache and felt like i just had a cold for a few days. and i didn’t get to hang out with my friends until a few days ago. although it has been abseloutley wonderful to not see my science teacher since i got sick

That's how I do it. And how Lee Childs does it too. He believes it's important that the writer finds out the danger or challenge facing the hero at the same time as the reader.

Glad that you ended up coming back after your break and you are ready to continue writing! I can't wait to see what you have planned next! And the writer finding out about the obstacles coming up in a story at the same time as a reader is an interesting tactic to write a story. It very much makes things intriguing rather than having 100% of it planned out.

I'm back. I'm just waiting for friend requests on steam so that I can play online with you guys. Mainly the likes of Tabletop Simulator among others.

Drove through the snowmageddon yesterday to Akron, NY. Gonna spend about a week with the youngest daughter, watch the eclipse, and chill. Wifi is spotty here but that's not entirely bad. Keeps the SPAM away.
