When was the last time we were blessed with
"GRAAAAAAAAAPE"?

It feels like it's been so long.

While it's great to see Grape and Max again, I have to say I'm oddly disappointed by today's strip. Not sure why...

When I first saw this... My mind just went ~



Grape and Max are napping together, but I also love how Max just has to wake up from his nap to correct Peanut as well. Poor Grape feels like she's surrounded by fools. X3

That's the Peanut we know and love!
It must have cost him his tail to afford that candy so close to Halloween.

And it's great to see Grape and Max again. What could be cuter than two cats napping together? ^w^

I often wonder if the "gourmet" candy corn, etc, that does come from catalogs is just dollar store candy tossed in expensive boxes.

My boss told me something like that when it came to ordering the expensive cuts of meat. All the same thing, just different labels.

You'd be surprised how much people are willing to spend on a label or box.

Nice to see that GrapeWell still going strong! Hopefully Peanut has been doing some of that with Tarot
Missed these guys, and they haven't changed a bit! Grape with that classic ugh...expression of hers, and Max as always the wise sage full of wisdom ready to help others like the always innocent Peanut, some things never change huh?

Also, the way Grape slouches her head back on the armrest of the chair, to me, is pretty silly and awesome

I'm with Peanut on this one. The first time I actually saw candy corn in a store, I was 10 or so, and I was all "OMG!!! You can BUY candy corn!!!!"

...what? My mother's a working woman and likes to shop by herself and tell the kids to stay home. Don't look at me like that

I LOVE Max's logic, somehow it DOES make sense
It reminds me of the things Grape once said about Santa Claus

That's the kind of humor I really like, the one where people think different or have a different view, but somehow it still makes some kind of sense

What I like is how the first panel seems like a setup to a crazy explanation, and what Peanut then say is pretty logical actually.

No Max, you are wrong. The Easter Bunny supplies the candy for Halloween. The Tooth Fairy is getting teeth all year round, but Easter only happens in April, 6 months away from October. He has something to do to keep making money after 6 months. Furthermore, in the Nightmare Before Christmas, Jack is brought the Easter Bunny instead of Santa Clause. He then said sorry to the Easter Bunny, and had him returned to Easter land. The reason behind this is because Jack knew the Easter Bunny supplied all the candy they required for Halloween, and it would hurt their business if they hurt the Easter Bunny.

Really Max, think before you speak.

I also don't think Larry the Cable Guy needs the money from Halloween candy. He's Larry the Cable Guy.

Wow Im surprised so many are taking what Max said kinda word for word. To me it totally sounds like he's only joking and using that sarcastic wit of his based on Tooth Fairy being in bold and him also pausing abit in his explanation, simply mocking Peanut's gullible nature, its not the first time.

And so begins the Halloween arc! I wonder if it will just a traditional halloween or a supernatural one; with Sabby and Tarot diminished powers it will probably be traditional, though the temple and GK are still around so...

No, Max probably knows the Tooth Fairy personally, with that grin of his, the Tooth Fairy would be glad to know him.

There is no link on many of the comic pages.

Also, Max is telling the truth, at least he thinks he is. He knows the Tooth Fairy.
