Aww now I want to give Fox a hug now!

You know its weird. I seen All Dogs Go To Heaven a lot growing up but I never got sad or cried at it. I just found it to be a good film, but I never knew it made people sad until I got the internet.

Watching the box,
with his Royal crew,
King finds a new wound
on which to chew.
'All dogs go to heaven'
the title of the flick,
Fox went, he forgot,
and learned a new trick.
It's a fine place,
full of sweet blue angels.
We could see them soon
if Bailey asks for Tuna Bagels...

I think anyone who had watched the comic for even some small amount of time would know what was happening even without the speech saying what the movie was.

Fox definitely needs a lot of hugs for how sad he is feeling after watching the movie.

That's why this movie should come with a free box of tish-you's (though I personally did not cry at the end). Love King's expression (somewhat sad, but perhaps more puzzled by the fact that he never encountered any pink whippets on his journey).

Heh, I'd knew King would break eventually from the film...

I never cried when watching it...but then again I'm not a dog.

Old Yeller was probably not made in this dimension. Too many unfortunate implications. :?

Maybe they could watch All Dogs Go To Heaven 2? I could provide, I just bought it on VHS from a thrift shop on Friday. I think that one is less tear inducing, though, it isn't as good.
Buretsu wrote:But King's already been to Heaven..
As has Fox.

Also, in the comic, is it the same movie we know, as in dogs with 4 legs, or is Charlie like them? And all the other dogs? I don't think it would be as effective because of the girl that talks to animals. It would never work that way, would it?

I think that movie is considered a lousy sequel in Dog society actually, :/
Like you know, one of those things where the fanbase convince themselves that a movie never happened, like the Matrix sequels or X-Men: The Last Stand.

No but the death, heaven, hell, gambling, singing alligator, sad moments, violence and Charlie's death would still be in there...

One of those doesn't sound right for some reason...

I will agree with that. The sequel is never as good, and is sometimes bad. For me in this case, it is not as good, but not bad, just meh. I could see how dogs would think of it as bad and lousy.

And about the never happening thing. I will always say it happened if it happened. This can also get some people mad, because sometimes I love those movies. It is funny when they get mad :)

I think it is death that doesn't sound correct :D

Yeah? How about I Am Legend?

That would be especially depressing in a universe where Sam could actually speak to Neville... :?

Nice panel. ;) It's indeed a beautiful movie. Weird that King is so insensible to it, but as we know, he has already been to the Heaven, didn't pass a great moment there and learned lot of things about. :P Oh, poor Fox, please King, console him instead to complain about the movie. He has done a lot to you so far. :)

I think Fox had a dream about going to Heaven once. He even saw his mother...

I just thought of something... King said that he'll remember his time in heaven as long as he stays in contact. Now that he's no longer part of the game (did you lose?) will he forget the trip?

And somehow I thought that was Zack (Zach?) hugging the couch arm. I missed seeing the bandana, and I was wondering why he'd be there... It being Michael J Fox makes more sense.
*Offers hugs and scritches to Fox*

I JUST LOST THE GAME!

But that is an interesting observation. He may start to think of it as a distant dream as Fox does.

Well yeah. Being a mortal he should forget what Heaven is like. I mean, you know, it's something that you just shouldn't go around spreading :P
