I'm calling it now: they have to redo the scene over and over again and their bubbles are burst because Peanut and/or Karishad are finicky.

Who let the wolf with the crazy eating habbits watch the chickens?!

No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Yay! White Rabbit reference!
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Thanks for suggesting the idea (convincing me not to make him green). This way I can make these and Trix rabbit jokes.Douglas Collier wrote:Yay! White Rabbit reference!
I wouldn't be surprised if Other Daryl ate them alive; simply gobbling them up whole... My goodness, how horrifying.
Re: The Not-So Dynamic Duo
The other Daryl is so hilarious, he won't never change, neither drawn by "Rick in disguise" (really, your reproduction of his style is amazing!). With such lines, this movie is going to be really weird... The chickens were needed for the movie? Who's gonna pay for this damage? Pete, if you're able, make 299 chicks, now!

He's also demonstrated himself to be a magical shape-shifter in the past, (repeatedly turning human during his and king's first arc) I'm sure he can improvise something.

In fact, Pete is a demigod, right? If he turned an human into a dog, he can be able to do something else. Let him impress us.
The chicken dress should give him mysterious powers.Amazee Dayzee wrote:I don't think that he can since he's a male gryphon.

Re: The Not-So Dynamic Duo
Hehe, Pete summoning chickens. I actually didn't think of that.
I didn't really emphasize this, but Pete was restored with only a poultry- I mean paltry fraction of his powers. He can't fly at super sonic speed (hence, no Lord of the Rings plot hole), but must rely on his great relations with mortal friends to help get to the top. Besides, who needs powers when you have Peanut: the king of improvisation and adlibbing?!... With that, I give you...

Its a joke that he was using there how bumps on the head make a person temporarily dumb. The opposite for Kevin.
I've worked closely with him, so I know this is exactly what he would do and all of his jokes. Even the groaners.

Yeah, it seemed funnier in my head (the idea that an extreme "tackle" would unlock some latent intellect hidden within that dense cranium). It will likely be another while before the next one comes out (probably a couple of weeks), though I think that the contents should make up for it. Let's just say that the chaos we're so accustomed to in Peanut's productions will really show its face.
Oh, and I forgot the alternate text on the last one...
"I guess they 'chickened-out' on the whole battle scene." ... I dunno, I tried.

I assume she meant "jokes," though Homer really is a piece of work (just like his/their former teacher). Then again, wait until you see their plan. It'll take a while, but hopefully you'll find it worth the wait.

Batman: "Whose jokes suck?..."
Well, I figured I'd finish these two off super quick before a whole lot of great stuff happens to me within the next few months.
I am aware that the idea for Daryl as Spot has been done before (eg. in this awesome guest strip: https://www.housepetscomic.com/2014/06/ ... the-movie/ ). However irrelevant to the overall plot, I felt compelled to make this happen here as well. Seriously, I can't envision anyone else for the role... He was probably bribed to do this by Peanut with chocolate mousse... which he thought was an actual moose covered in chocolate.
Anyway, whenever I return, I'll get back on track with the story. Again, I just had to do this.
Some Spot Changes: "Daryl, what are you doing?... Spot doesn't wear a hat."
More Shocking Developments: Rock used thundershock. It's super effective.

Re: The Not-So Dynamic Duo
Out of consideration of the recent earthquake in Nepal and the subsequent landslide, I’m deciding on cancelling (if not, extensively postponing/revamping) this current arc. I’ll at least have to change the setting somehow away from Mt. Everest, as well as alter the plot. For those who may be curious, I can still personally give you a brief synopsis of what I originally planned to do all the way to the end, but I feel that it would be insensitive to continue posting this comic here and now.
But don’t worry, this means I can jump to another arc, like one that explains Heidi’s relation with Harrison, shows one of Holly’s earlier schemes for fame backfiring, or simply returning to the roots of the duo just getting into mischief... Maybe I can do a prequel about Homer (pre-merged) and Pete hanging out... Or, if you’re all just sick of these two numbskulls and Homer altogether, I can start a completely new story involving yours truly (in “Echoes of Laughter.” ... You know? Cuz I’m a bat who does standup.)... Yep, in comparison, Holly and Heidi will seem quite sane to you. In any case, this will all take some time, as I’ll be fairly busy in the next few months with pressing matters.
I’m sure that I can speak for all of us in that our prayers and condolences go out to the thousands of lives lost in this tragedy.

Re: The Not-So Dynamic Duo
Still not sure what I'm going to do. A very tall mountain was kind of important for the plot I had in mind (maybe just move it to another one?). I'm definitely open to suggestions, as I am reluctant to just end it like Dallas (though with a "or was it?" kind of twist).
Oh well, for the time being, I'll reward everyone's tolerance with my indecisiveness/incompetence with this: a polished-up idea I said I scrapped a while back (Audience: *sarcastic "woo"*...). This is a prequel to Heidi and Holly's current adventure.

I don't think that the people that died or the people that were involved in the tragedy would mind since you already started the story. But that's just my opinion.
If Heidi and Holly are in limbo, you know where they can go.

Well, I don't want to presume anything, but I really would like to finish the story and reanimating everything is a bit too much. So far, I've only heard from a couple indicating that they're okay with me continuing. Hence, I'll resume as long as no one says otherwise. Anyway, resuming with the current arc, here's the next one to hold everyone over. I'll resume the one I previewed last time soon.
