Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

And that's why I stop this game now. No more counting here, please.Douglas Collier wrote:Weren't we going to start a new game with the halving rule once we got to page 250?
Here is the set of rules I'd like to set for the new game. Since we all play together I ask you if they're okay for you or if anybody has any amendments.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
It's time to restart this game. The standard rules stay the same as they have been all the time:
To make the game fairer, we add some additional rules.Dissension wrote:This is a counting game. Standard members' posts will increase the count; contrariwise, moderators' posts will decrease the count. Each group's chain may be interrupted by a member of the opposite group. All posts must include only the next number. If you include any text, it must relate to the number and fall within the scope of this game.
These rules we already had in MvM3 are still in force:
- The mods' interval is -5% of members' score till 80% of said score is reached, then -1% of the members' score till 95% of said score, then only -1
- If the members' score is higher, then the mods' score: The members' interval is +1
- If the mods' score is higher, then the members' score: The members' interval is +2 till 80% of the mods' score is reached, then only +1
Example with the final score from MvM3:
Mod low score: -441
Member high score: 413
Mods' interval:
till -320: -20
till -392: -4
then: -1
Members' interval:
till 352: +2
then: +1
These rules are new:
- Mods do not reset the Members' score anymore to 0. Instead of resetting the score to 0 they half the member's score only (rounding up). Just until 10 or below then they go to 0 directly to skip the bits and bobs at the end.
Examples:
Without members in between:
126 / 63 / 32 / 16 / 8 / 0 / -20 / -40
211 / 106 / 53 / 27 / 14 / 7 / 0 / -20 / -40
With members in between:
211 / 106 / 108 / 110 / 55 / 28 / 30 / 32 / 34 / 36 / 38 / 40 / 20 / 10 / 0 / -20 / -40
- Members still reset the Mods' score to 0.
Example:
-120 / -140 / -160 / -180 / 0 / 2 / 4

Yas, is fine. We don't get immediately thrown off a mountain into 0 land so that's nice.

No complaints? Then I'll close this and start the new game in a few minutes.
