Wears explorer gear/clothes head to toe (blackened leather boots, black wool socks, and black leather pants with a slit for the tail, a black wool long sleeve shirt, and black leather gloves under his sleeves covering his paws), wears a black hooded cloak over that if the weather is bad. Also has a strapped leather bag for carrying stuff.
Personality: Has an explorers spirit, but eventually wanted to live the simple life in a quiet town. Tries extra hard to prove that he is not like others of his species. Loves his mate Fleta and will do anything to provide and care for her.
Other Notes: Learned Latin to make it easier to learn other languages so it would be easier to travel too. Meet Fleta while exploring the western sea. After trying to make a living off the sea they decided to head to Mossflower.

Personality: Wants to have a family with Bradley, live the nice cozy life and raise that said family. Is willing to explore with Bradley but it is not her. She loves Bradley though and will follow him anywhere.
Other Notes: Learned Latin of off Bradley so she too could learn other languages faster. She is from a land over the western sea, where she ran into Bradley and they developed a relationship. He took her all over but she finally got him to settle down, they decided to settle down in Mossflower.

They look like great characters! A couple of things though:

1.) In this world we're saying animal years = human years since there's no humans in this world and since that makes more sense given the buildings and how the animals learn and whatnot.
2.) What exactly do you mean by explorer clothes? I just want to make sure they'll fit with the period and feel of the book.
3.) This is not Earth. This is the land of Mossflower. There is no England, nor will there be. Likewise there's no Italy or Switzerland or France. The geography simply doesn't match. Be a bit creative and make up some place names, or better yet, see if you can incorporate a place or two from the books. I'll allow the use of Latin though since we're already using Welsh and English. I can't imagine there'd be too many characters using it though. I'd think that it, like Loamscript, has fallen out of use except among the especially educated or affluent.

Other than that they look good so if you can clear up those things we'll be good.

Ok, I think I fixed the problem. If there are any others I will be happy to fix them.

I just now realized that Trevor is in a very similar situation to a myth in....japan I think ? It's about a hunter , lost in the wood , comes across a small house in the middle of nowhere , with only a beautiful maiden inside . She allowed him to stay , provided him with food and drinks , only for him to realize when the morning comes that he was tricked , and everything was just an illusion by a kitsune (spirit fox) , with the maiden being the fox itself

Its a Wildcat. Looks like a really large housecat, basically. In real life they're a metre long not counting the tail so in this world he's easily big enough to take on an average otter and win.

Calder is a red squirrel, is of average height for a squirrel his age, slightly more toned due to working at the blacksmith. He wears a grey tunic and Burgundy trousers. He has a small scar on his left hand and wrist from a smithing accident. Has light green eyes.

-Personality-
Though mischievous at heart he tries to keep his humor and joy of pranks in check. he acts confident even when he has insecurities and doubts of his talents. Though if need be, he can be brave. He does try to listen and not speak out of turn.

Calder has begun very recently to step outside of his comfort in blacksmithing and has begun to study other things. He can be found most mornings reading in the library.

-Background-
Growing up inside redwall with his mother, father, and siblings. He loved mischief and causing trouble, one day while with his brother he became lost and found himself being attracted to the blacksmith shop. Since he was young he loved the sound of hammers smashing steel. Calder eventually grew up to be an apprentice to the blacksmith. Which was fine for his parents, who were overly protective of him in his younger age. Since he was so over protected Calder wants to go on an adventure someday, but is still contempt to making amour and anything else that needs smithing.

-Other Notes-
A year ago Calder was in a smithing accident, due to one of his own prank backfiring on a friend. He wound up falling near the forge and burned his left hand and wrist. He now tries to keep his mischievous behavior to a minimum but can't help trying to be funny at times.

He also can't swim and fears the water.

He doesn't know much about fighting, but his studies have taught him a few new skills. Or whatever can be found in the Abby. Along with some non fighting but educational scrolls. He also has a crush on Brum, and might attempt to impress her. He is kind of shy and is worried about rejection so he keeps his feelings to himself.
