Plot twist

Yesterday I came up with the idea that while peanut and grape are walking down the street together, a car comes along and grape pushes peanut out of the way, grape gets hit (NO SERIOUS INJURY) and passes out. When they are at the hospital, grape is out after seeing everyone, and peanut exspesses his true love for her, while it turns out she's awake. Later that day after grape is released, she says she heard everything peanut said. Take it where/how you will, but I personally think its at least a workable idea.
