How long do these chat threads normally last for in terms of time? It seems like this one's been up for forever.

Yeah. We are 34 pages in and we still have not found out where Jeff is.

I pretty much gave it away in the "What are you doing today" thread.

And this chat thread has been up for a while. It seems that before my time, chat threads might only last a matter of days. But that was also a time when the conversations were not all meaningful (If that's the best way to put it). Lots of spam and nothing really worth reading through. I'd prefer a slow chat thread over one that's 99% garbage.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.

I remember that. That was awkward/slightly adorable.

He learned something new about himself.

I learned that peanut butter goes great on hotdogs.

Something I never thought of trying.

And probably never will try because I don't like hotdogs. But it sounds interesting though.

Speaking of weird food combos, did y'all know that meatballs, grape jelly, and BBQ sauce taste wonderful together? Seriously though y'all should try it out sometimes, it taste like candy, but with meat!

Isn't there a topic for food already? Wouldn't this all be better placed there? Will I stop asking rhetorical questions?

It's the mods' responsibility to make comments like that, and we tend not to do so until a topic goes on for too long. It's okay if the Chat Thread briefly touches on an existing topic.

In fact, it's now so easy to find my name and location that I'm changing the name of the chat thread. No longer Chat Thread 40: Where in the world is JeffCvt, it's now going to be Chat Thread 40: What in the world is JeffCvt's other name? because I recently made a new online profile that I've been using so I can be anonymous since this name no longer is. I know that no one will ever find it.

No, I've known that it's easy. Stupid Google+ combined a bunch of my accounts, some with JeffCvt as my name and some with my real name, connecting the two with a google search of either one.

So I made a new online profile so I can still have my privacy when I want it. Since the name of the chat thread was no longer really relevant, I changed it to one that was.

Because apparently privacy no longer exists. In the words of a meme, "Merge ALL the accounts!"

The email I used with Google+ exploded anyway, so I'm safe!
