Doing mortal combat with our newspaper delivery group. Whenever the regular delivery guy takes a break, his replacement invariably fudges up the delivery. We get three newspapers - today, we got one and that one we don't subscribe to.

Kind of a good question. Had a fire in the broiler oven last evening, so we'll probably need a new one. Boy, lotta drama with the smoke and the alarms screaming ... sheesh. And my back is sore today from doing yard work (broke the wheel off a trash can and also broke a pair of garden shears). Sigh.

They tell yah, after a ceratin age (almost always the one you're currently at), it's vital to know your limits. Problem is, those limits keep changing .....

It wasn't that bad but I did get three alerts on my phone about there being flash flooding around my location but we didn't get any thankfully. Plus the rain has let up a little bit.

Today I thought my allergy congestion was gone until it came back with a vengeance at about 6:30. If it still continues I am gonna make an appointment with someone because I can't function with a stuffed up nose.

Wondering if hurricane/tropical storm Lee will end up visiting. So far I have seen no signs of it on my end. And my cousin-in-law basically said the meteorologists basically made it a larger issue than it was. I guess we will see.

Me and the missus are going to our favorite ice cream stand. It operates on a seasonal basis and closes today evening. Summer officially ends in my home town when Lago's closes.

Helping a friend move from one apartment to another - but not much. He's a good fella but an awful, awful hoarder! Amutual friend of ours quit on him after he refused to move boxes of assorted foodstuffs with outdated expiration labels. Me, I just smile, say "no", and pick up something else.

Recovering from a REALLY bad headache and trying to sleep a bit more since I go back to work. I ingested a lot of caffeine last night which DIDN'T help but now the caffeine is kicking in and preventing me from sleeping.
