Not that this applies to me, since I've already signed up (though I suppose it counts in regards to due dates), but what time zone is that "12 PM" in?

From the FAQ:

Q: Which timezone are the times in?
A: The timezone is GMT (or GMT+1 is Daylight Saving Time is enabled) which should make it easy for everyone to calculate the time in their own timezone.

So GMT, or rather GMT+1 because of daylight saving time.

I filled out the form, correctly, I hope. If I'm not mistaken the sign up ends October 19th 12 PM. I wonder if there's going to be a whole bunch of people who sign up for the "Official Artistic Gifts" on the last day to sign up?

Depends. It happened so that some people wanted in, but never read and signed up properly. I think we had 3-4 people sign up on the last day. It depends on how much this is spread around.

I was just thinking that there might be a good number of people who only look at threads such as this one before they actively participate in them. I only post in a forum if I know I have something to contribute to the thread otherwise I quietly watch in the background. What exactly do you mean by not signing up properly? The Official Artistic Gifts sign-up form is not difficult to fill out, is it?

Like, just leaving a post in this thread without also filling out the participation form, or forgetting to fill out parts of the form (for some reason). In that case someone will gently poke them, and remind them of what they might have forgotten. In case of a missing character description, I will handle that over PM's. The most important part is that people put their nick in the form, else I have no idea of who to talk with

Jokes aside, there are still plenty of time to sign up and everyone is welcome. You might want to read the entire first post (primarily the FAQ) before you actually sign up.

I have decided to join in on this! I realise I have been inactive here for far to long and this seems like a good way to get back into things.
