“Everyone, this is our son, Oliver.
Not gonna lie, Macabre and I didn’t even know if we could have children, considering the fact that he’s a demon and I’m a goddess, but now we have Ollie. Kid’s a big ball of energy, and admittedly tough to keep track of sometimes, but he’s a good person at heart.
He took to combat training pretty fast, and turns out he has an early affinity for water abilities. The species he came out as should have been an obvious clue, but trust me, I’ve seen weirder. Still, he’s not as intense about it as I am, but let the kid be a kid, I say. I just happened to enjoy it more in my childhood, but let him have his.
I wish I could say everything was happy for him, though. Despite most Celestials becoming comfortable with Macabre being around by this time, he still had detractors, and Ollie’s arrival only meant that they had someone else to go after. Ollie couldn’t quite hide his Infernal heritage, and this only served to make him self-conscious about it around certain others. At least he had several others that he could fall back on.
Strange, isn’t it? Macabre, Ollie, and I all had something we desperately tried to hide from everyone. I’m just glad that he was eventually able to make peace with that half of him, though I’m sure we all would have preferred a better way to do so.
Macabre’s past eventually came back to haunt him, and by extension, us. His mother and sister led an assault on us, which we reciprocated. Ollie was forced to fend off Lilith, Macabre’s younger sister, and was losing at first. Ollie realized that he needed to be honest with all of his heritage, Celestial and Infernal alike, and gained a new power, allowing him to win.
This Awoken form actually manages to put my Beast form to shame! Ollie is a full head taller than I am, and probably stronger, too! Downside being that Ollie is still learning how to even use such a sudden growth, so he’s still a bit clumsy. He also can’t talk outside of animalistic growls, which isn’t a problem to Celestials and Infernals, but makes it impossible for mortals to understand him. He also can’t figure out how to revert at will, so he has to wait for it to wear off. Admittedly he got luckier than me, my Beast form was initially uncontrollable, but Ollie always remained his playful self in this from the start.”

Finally got around to another Tails of Babylon character. This is Salé, Sucré’s older brother. He tends to act as a peacekeeper between his sister and anyone she may tell off, and is quite good at resolving things. He is a bit of a soft-spoken sort.

Do they have to be Celestials you are doing them for or can they be characters that are familiar with Mirage and Macabre because they have dealings with them? I can't remember if David and Marble ended up crossing paths with them.

I was hoping to stick to Celestials for now. The truth is, I didn’t want to reveal Ollie so quickly, but the question I got required his context a while back. I was hoping to make a more slow thing for people to follow.
And yes, I have drawn a few pieces of Mirage and Macabre interacting with David and Marble, but never much.

Ollie showing off some of his shape-shifting abilities.
Which, you know, would be a bigger deal if it weren’t for the fact that
every Celestial and Infernal can do it. Eh, let him have his fun.

Liking how those characters came out!
Finally got something new to show, featuring Krytus’ Askal.
Askal seems to be able to see and hear moments with strong emotions tied to them in another, and Macabre is carrying a LOT of baggage.
