Quite like how it came out.

Got a new piece, finally using concepts I’ve had for years.

A new trio of Celestials; in the middle is the ringleader, Lulay, flanked by her two “lackeys,” Melody and Harmony, respectively. Lulay very much has a “holier than thou” attitude to many of the other Celestials and mortals and is rarely afraid to show it. She is also the most displeased that Heaven is welcoming Infernals.

The three are renowned singers, despite this, Lulay only feeling threatened by the arrival of the Infernal, Aria.

Melody and Harmony are twin siblings who always follow Lulay around and tend to parrot her viewpoints, but usually practice better discretion and will bail if it means saving themselves. As the saying goes, “birds of a feather flock together, until the cat arrives.” Or in their usual case, Mirage.

Lulay has been a concept for years, all the way back when Tails of Babylon was planned to be a trilogy, but scrapped until now. Melody and Harmony only had names for years, only recently being able to settle on their species. Other species considered were squirrels and mice.

This picture is actually very nice and so colorful! Once again Rocky really nice job!

Another Tails of Babylon character, the cat, Sucré. She’s a cynical type, feeling burned out on the haughtiness of several cats around her. She doesn’t keep many people close to her. Her brother, Salé, being one of the very few exceptions.

She looks really pretty and so fluffy! Wonderful work!

“Ah, that’s an interesting one. Macabre once came back from a mortal realm after learning a new piece. The song had vocals, so he asked me if I wanted to give it a shot. Now, I’m actually not that bad of a singer, definitely know better, but decided “why not?”

It turned out that I found myself relating a bit to the lyrics, since I was still in the process of being comfortable with my Beast form after taming it.
