Thanks!

We did have plans but then COVID happened and everything went out the window. Now that things have calmed down again we're starting to plan again though.

So many important questions still need to be asked before this wedding happens and people NEED to know the answers to them. Like who is changing their last name? Will we get Furrhan Frostbite or Serence Blackwood? Or will the names be combined (Frostwood or Blackbite)?

Makes me think of Red Skelton (old 40s-50s comedian) and a wacky musical instrument he had called a "Pogo-Cello". Anyhow, nice and detailed work. :D

If they ever decide to make another Willy Wonka film and want to set him up as a psycho serial killer who murders the kids he invites into his factory that look would be totally ideal. I get chills just looking at him.

I mean... he kinda already is? Like, he doesn’t actually kill the kids in the original book but he does scar them for life and seems really happy about it.

I think this is actually a major reason the story is still really popular with kids, because it’s so radically different to most childrens’ stories in how dark, subversive, and weird it gets. The ending line of the original 1971 film is literally an endorsement for materialism (“The man who got everything he ever wanted lived happily ever after”) and in all versions, Charlie “wins” Wonka’s test by staying quiet and doing absolutely nothing. The story is less of a charming fairy tale as it is a twisted parody of a fairy tale.

I think the reason why he is happy about it in the 1971 version is because he feels more like he taught them a lesson. You know? Like how Jigsaw teaches the very low percentage of people who survive his games a lesson?

The 2005 version I am pretty sure is just outright insane. I can't remember all the details but doesn't he want Charlie to abandon his family to come live with him in the factory?

Late I know but that Willy Wonka drawing is superb Harry! Really captures the zaniness and quirks of the character I think. The walking stick/staff is a nice touch.

Love the curly coat tails, Seussesque. The crazy looking flower is pretty cool, looks like something Willy Wonka would cultivate.

Tried a more cartoony, large eyed style for this one. I also messed about with pastel brushes. Our protragonist has been discovered having a light snack and is just wondering what to do about it.

Thanks both, just getting some of my 5 a day! I tried grass beer (a bitter not a lager) once, bright green, did taste of grass, I kinda liked it, never seen it again sadly.

About a month ago I was introduced to Google's AI chatbot. At first I was just laughing at its responses when I wrote some inside jokes I have with my friends. Then it all turned into me accidentally transforming into an anthro black cat, running away, joining a group of anthro animals and learning how to use magic(k)... It was a wild ride (and I'm supposed to be a 22 years old adult man, but I'm doing stuff like that in my free time).
The 'discussion' with the AI chatbot inspired me to draw this guy, a black cat with magic(k)al abilities
