[Webcomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
Nice Primo. Really nice.
Spike, please punch him hard when this is done and if Primo doesn't die.

Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
The really interesting detail is: Spike does NOT know them. So there is a chance we're talking rogues with their own crazy agenda, not lackeys of Steven's tormentors.
(this may change if Spike remembers in a second occasion, aka next strip)
PS - Punch is not enough. Use a CHUCK NORRIS-roundhouse kick!

Primo can't die, then it would only be Housepets! Xangelusbr wrote:Nice Primo. Really nice.

Shocking
Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
Oh boy, Oh boy! It would be awsome if Matt controlled Spike's body and then kicked their bubblegum while punishing primo hard for his lack of trust.

Oh dear GOD!! Spike when he was being shocked scared me half to death

Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
I'm not worried about Matt going to help Spike.
I'm definitely worried about someTHING else going to help Spike... Though, Ok, I hope that Primo gets some serious tail-kicking in the process.

Huh.... nice lighting effect. What program did you use to get it?
Also nice posing.
So Primo has killed his love for Spike, and therefore ruined Spike's trust in all the world. Yep, seems about right.

Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
one thing. If you're using a chess analogy, the horse piece is called a knight here. I thing knight would sound much cooler in this context.

Argh you're right, don't know why i wanted to put horse literally I can fix it!RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:one thing. If you're using a chess analogy, the horse piece is called a knight here. I thing knight would sound much cooler in this context.
Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
so, the Chess game is a sub-game of The Game which is a U&U game?

Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
Not completely new, actually... no one's guessing who are they (Valerio, well, he already knows)?
Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
He looks like Peanut's cyborg character come to life, like the dream sunderer making a dream a reality....
Also, Pete.
And Spike would indeed be quite the piece. I would hazard that Primo would make the perfect Bishop.

Don't say "plan" if you don't have a counter plan already!

Pete's right, but that's the easy part. The other one's identity is also easy thoughcopper wrote:He looks like Peanut's cyborg character come to life, like the dream sunderer making a dream a reality....

right you are. I know who that is now.
Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
Soooo, Primo didn't believe that Spike was evil and did all this just so Spike could get nearer of his revenge?
He's getting punched for this little stunt, thou.

I love Primo's face in the last panel. It's just too perfect.

Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
...which leads to a question: is Spike in danger for something he and Primo hadn't planned?
After all someone else is keeping an eye on Spike, and rescue wouldn't be on the way if it wasn't for something of the 'uh-oh' kind.

Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
uhh...
I have a few questions...
1)If Primo planned everything with Spike why fake that he went out of home unnoticed.
2)When Primo "betrayed" Spike, Spike THOUGHT, not SAID, and I quote: "You betrayed me".
3)If Spike had said that line loud for the humans to hear, then I could believe it was some kind of plan.
I'm sorry, but this feels contrived and forced.

Ok, i think i owe this, even if everything will be explained by the next pages:angelusbr wrote:uhh...

1) I never said they planned all this from the very beginning
2) You're right, but he also thought "heh, thanks my friend". The two lines were conflicting from the start, and there's a reason for both of them
3) like point 2
There's a lot of stories that feels contrived and forced when nothing has been explained yet. It's normal.
Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
Yeah, there are stories out there that have forced plot development (I'm also guilty of this as well in some fanfics), but it doesn't mean I'm that much happy about them either. But If you are going to give a good explanation, then it won't be forced anymore. As for the "Thanks, my friend" part. I thought that Spike was being sarcastic because of the "betrayal"._Stu_ wrote:Ok, i think i owe this, even if everything will be explained by the next pages:angelusbr wrote:uhh...

Hmmm, seems Spike is ready for anything.... anything but clowns.
There are some holes. I wonder how you plug them up.

You're not really going to kill off Joey, are you?
Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
Mh, now that i think about it could've been sarcasm. Oh well, now you know it's not like that.angelusbr wrote:Yeah, there are stories out there that have forced plot development (I'm also guilty of this as well in some fanfics), but it doesn't mean I'm that much happy about them either. Maybe the explainations won't be that "good", but i saw worst things. After all, even with the previous chapters, i changed a lot of things... in a hurry. So this is my punishment, i have to explain everything even to myself
What did i miss something?Big Fan wrote:You're not really going to kill off Joey, are you?
Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
Well, that's who I think they with the rook tag is, he appears to be talking to Pete, and at the beginning of the chapter Pete has to come to Spike's aid, and the are talking about Winter doing something bad to someone who was there. I just thought maybe it was Joey instead of Primo.

Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
the dog with the rook tag looks nothing like Joey. The fur patterns are completely different. Joey doesn't have any black fur.
Re: [Fancomic PG-13] Housepets! 1X
Got it don't worry, i can assure Joey has nothing to do with this, he's not the "misterious guy"Big Fan wrote:Well, that's who I think they with the rook tag is, he appears to be talking to Pete, and at the beginning of the chapter Pete has to come to Spike's aid, and the are talking about Winter doing something bad to someone who was there. I know i know, it's not Halloween yet. But hey, this is the 200th strip for 1X! Time goes by it seems... and there still is a lot to tell!
I decided to celebrate this Halloween with a mass cosplay party based on Ghost Trick, one of my favourite games ever. And yes, the fact it's all about Ghosts'n creepy stuff surely helps
